well, i don't think dakota would know how to give acting lessons, cus, as i said, i think it's like her another skin - something she doesn't think about much,imo. she's just a talent all the way, i can see her in not more than five years getting an oscar. B)

as for kristen, she herself said she refuses to go to any acting classes which i think is totally wrong, she needs to polish herself, not do it on her own since she clearly has issues with removing herself completely from roles she picks (and she usually picks ones in which she has to remove herself completely). just my two cents.

I don't think Dakota is any better than Kristen, I just think Kristen approaches acting differently. Some actors like to submerge themselves in roles, while others take a more natural approach. I mean, I don't think Dakota would have given the same type of performance Kristen gave in Speak, which was a role that required a more method approach.

Ochi - i don't know if kristen's a better actress, that's what my main point is.
as much as it is all natural with dakota, on one hand it seems so automatic on the other (just listening to her interviews on promo tours points it out, unlike kristen's who's very vocal and wholeheartedly into it and the character she plays), guess that's what happens after 10 years into business (kristen's too 10 years in the business and still with a spark, or at least appears so). dunno. just different ppl i guess, but i really think kristen has to work on her acting so we can see what her real capacities are.

anyway, has anyone ID'd dakota's stripey blouse from this interview? it kinda reminds me of kristen's balenciaga dress she wore in paris i think?

i actually don't think kristen is very "method" or manages to get into the roles, she just turns the characters into versions of herself. i constantly see the same mannerisms and the way she speaks in interviews as well as all of her roles, the only big difference is that she wears different clothes and is a huge marysue (in bellas case) or hippie girl or whatever, but i can always see kristen, i can never forget that that's kristen stewart playing someone else in dakotas case i see the character and it's only dakotas face that reminds me it's actually dakota playing a part. but that's just my opinion...

anyways, she looks gorgeous in the interview, i really like the headband on her

It will be weird seeing her in a corset and sexy lingerie. I will always remember her as that girl from I Am Sam. But I'm glad she took on this role, cause who knows, this could be the turning point in her career.

well, the runaways themselves were around 16 when they started, so... guess they wanted for them to be even more closer to that age group.
