My truly perfect-fitting DH "jeans" are the beige distressed VOTC cords. Next up are the black canvas jeans from S/S 05. The ones I'm least happy with? Painted charcoal cords from VOTC. There were two versions...normal and super slim (which had claw marks and thigh-creases). I have the normal in 28, and the waist measures 30, and the allover fit is a tad baggier than I'd like. The leg opening is about 18.5 cm. I bought the superslim version in a 27, not knowing it was that version. The waist actually measured a bit under 28, I think. The leg opening was under 17 cm, and they were Strip destroyed jeans tight. So I would want those in a 28 in the 21 cm cut (which would actually measure around 18 cm) or the normal version in a 27. So many different options, and I can't find the right one. And I'm totally just rambling on and on, so I'm stopping now.

Yes whim, like the look. That is a bargain jacket, that's for sure. The whole thing about recent Dior Homme is that there is absolutely no need to pay top dollar for it since it is entirely based on recycled student/rocker (or student rocker) clothes.

Oh, and as for now, there´s only a women´s line... guys from sizes 42/petite up to a small 48 (depending on the proportions as his clothes are basically cut like Dior Homme prototypes... VERY tiny armholes, smaller waist, etc.) might be able to fit.

Are they not cut/darted/whatever with breasts in mind?

BTW, I just got my hands on a pair of the black painted denim in size 28. They are absolutely amazing! The fit is much slimmer than recent jeans and the finish/quality is tip top. I love how the paint is reflective/shiny and picks up colours from the surroundings.
They are much more wearable than the pvc coated jean and fits with anything, too bad they are so hard to get your hands on nowaydays, I'd like to have a "back-up"-pair.

Congratulations! You mean the ones from Follow Me, right? If so I think those are the best DH jeans of all time.

Not at all, they are basically the same as petite taille... menswear applied for women, but without any particularly female features such as darts intended for breast etc. ... Even with a men´s buttonline.

One funny thing is that I actually entered the store in paris about two years ago and I'm pretty sure I saw a few Love Wound shirts hanging in there (even though it was another collection). Now ofcourse, I wish I had bought them but I guess there's no idea crying over spilled milk.

Agree with you on all points. I actually just received those jeans last week, although I've only worn them once and I'm scared to wear them more than once a week for fear of the black paint on the crotch rubbing off, as I've heard in multiple accounts of people here who've owned those jeans. My raw denims and overdyes have essentially replaced my Levi's as my 'beater' jeans, so to speak.

Strip had some great denim too, i think that was the last collection of 'haute denim' from DH IMO, where he really went experimental with the treatments on the jeans...votc onwards are more functional, practical garments for sure, but I find the pre-VotC jeans to be a lot more interesting even if they don't have as long of a shelf life.

Follow Me is an excellent, romantic collection. I wouldn't mind owning one of those black shirts, for sure, and some other collector's denim as well. I remember trying on that electric blue silk suit that was going for a relatively reasonable price at Joyce Warehouse over the summer, it seemed like a one-wear kind of item as it's so obvious, but the material and finish were absolutely perfect.

just going back to the topic of size. i recently bought a pair of sz 32 2004 black cords of ebay. unfortunately i found them quite baggy round the waist and thighs. is there a big difference between 32 and 31 or 30 in these, particulary around the thigh region?

Ohhh, I would definitely want - and actually wear this suit for the daytime...

Or alternatively, just consider wearing just the jacket with some nicely fitted, dark blue raw denims? That would be an awesome look!

BTW, on Yoox, if you go in the women's Christian Dior section, they have alot of Dior Homme cords for cheap (around 220$-250$) in black/grey/tan. They must've made a mistake (hell, they even got women to model them, but if you look at the back pictures, you can see the DH slashes on the back pockets) since the sizes are small, from 27 to 32 and in both the 19cm and 21 cm hems (mostly 19's). I know there's alot of thin guys here who always have trouble finding the uber-rare size 27's (Alex and Jost/tricotineacetat, I'm looking your way ), so check them out.

If so that's just wrong...and i seen the outfit of him wearing the mesh tank with those lacquered jeans before, disgusting...he's also wearing the Louis Vuitton Stan Smith sneakers in that pic. Wow this is the example of a Hong Kong style icon...

Edison Chen also wore an Undefeated jacket in that recent movie about HK press where he played a totally useless photographer character. I guess he should stick to "street" brands if that's the look he's going for.
