About the fitting'

I went to DH in Osaka and tried on some of the outerwear. Most of it was disappointing. The leatherjackets were way to large! I usuarlly wear 46 or 44 (177 cm 62 kg), but the s44 leatherjackets felt like they were 2 sizes too big. The same goes for most of the other outerwear as well. The only thing that was cut slim in the lines of what we expect Dior to be like was a black, shiny, one buttoned short blazer/jacket, which when I put it on gave me a flashback of the glorious days before VotC.

It seems like it's the same deal with the shirts. I bought the red star shirt from SS05, which was very slim and fitted perfectly at sz 38, but the sz 37 shirts from the current season are too big.

They had loads of corduroys and jeans, some without bootcut. I like most of the models, but I'm waiting to try on a pair of distressed verlour pants before I buy anything.

I bought a gray Pete Tee and a long black silkscarf with long bronze fringes, a piece I'm very happy with!

How are the t-shirts and hoods fitting? Like t-shirts from the past season or bigger?

Fade to Black, why not go to shanghai to purchase DH? the price there is very close to NY

really? I've thought about it but I don't get much opportunity to go to Shanghai, i'll be gone to NY by late August so I'll check the winter stuff there then. I'm not really in a rush to purchase the stuff as I won't wear it until at least November anyway. I heard the gold boots were close to $1000 USD at Shanghai DH store though...if that's the case then the prices there are definitely not on par with NY.

Yeah I have the Joyce 10% discount card but still after that reduction the price is higher than U.S. retail...Molleton hoodie after discount is still way over $500 USD.

Metro I haven't tried on hoodies of past seasons, but the molleton hoodie i tried on seems to be of longer length than knitwear from VotC...i tried on a medium, it was still too snug but the sleeve length was perfect (I'm 6'4) and the length of the body is on par with the destroyed sweaters from VotC. I also read in a local magazine that the clothes are longer this season, so that might be the case.

i tried yahoo jap but the smallest is 44R.
I am built quite skinny, i fit into a size 44 jacket, but I wanna slimmer fit.

Oh by the way, the "M" refers to the shape if I'm not mistaken. The jacket looks like a M, silly but I think I'm right.

I am not in shanghai so that I don't know the current price. I may ask pal to check. From my previous experience(I bought several jeans, sneaker and hoodie), the price is very close to eluxury. At least it is lower than I.T or Joyce. And the SA told me it's cheaper than DH boutiques in japan. I also prefer the iron label than the gray one.
BTW,if spend big money(7500$) once or 15k in 1 year, u could get vip service(10% off and private invitation...).

i bought a pair of DH jeans from DH in Shanghai (at Plaza66). that was in June 2005. 30% discount off items in the store. i'm relatively new to DH so i'm not certain of the name/style of the jeans. on the receipt, it said item# 123143. Code: 5EH1015482. size 28. B602. the original price was 3650 rmb. 2555rmb after discount = approx 315USD. best jeans i've ever worn. but i have to say that they stretch out quite abit.

i'm looking for a slim fit jacket/blazer from DH. attached are images from a past season for reference.

are there any like these from Fall 05? if yes, what are the names of the style/model...so that i can more easily let the sales person know?

I believe they're still carrying it... when I was there a couple of weekends ago during their final sale the SA brought out this military green dress shirt and a pair of the neon pink jeans and said they were full price because they were carrying them over (!!!!??!?!?!?!)

Well, I don't know what the HELL those people do over there.

I was there a couple of months ago, and they had a fat stack of the black whiskered jeans from Follow Me! Tagged as such too! I guess they found a box of them in the back that they had forgotten about. It's too bad that I didn't hit up the final sale earlier (ie- day 1) because there was still probably a lot of Dior left over including some of the jeans.

hi, can someone please tell me how much the Dior Homme Classic Large Flap Messenger (listed on eluxury), is in the New York Dior Homme boutiques?
Because I live in Melbourne, Australia, and theres a boutique (not dior) that stocks Dior Homme, but the Large Flap Messenger is $1300 AUD, which equals around $980 US, and im guessing/hoping its cheaper than that in New York.
I really want one! B)

Arthur, as I wrote on last page, there were some really nice supertightfitting blazers from this season when I checked out the store a few days ago. I'll try to get my hands on the reference number tomorrow when I visit the store again.
