It is Dior after all, and it looked like Hedi adhered at least some what to the Dior aesthetic (the way he did it at YSL). Now it's just second hand rock-n-roll clothes, nothing Dior about it....
Definitely my favorite Dior Homme collection. I just love all the strappy, Edward Scissorhands-type stuff.Arturo21 said:Arguably the most original of Hedi's collections for Dior, ladies and gentlement...Dior Homme Fall 2003:

Many of the looks seem to be ripped straight from Ann Dem shows and
Early Raf.
You would be suprised how much of this stuff existed in the punk scene before Hedi brought the 'high-end version'.
I don't really have anything against hedi himself (although I think hes a mediocre designer as a whole) however, I can't stand when he gets all the credit for a look that other designers pioneered and he only made mainstream.
To his credit, he has some nice designs and details.
However, I've seen designers that have much more detailed work than him.

As for this collection, I like it...I dig the minimalist aesthetic with the occasional splash of color thrown in, it's very futuristic.
Personally I prefer the sleek rock and roll look that Dior Homme has evolved into up to VotC but this collection is still quite nice. I'm guessing Hedi picked up where he left off at YSL with this collection?
Also if you could please post the "nicknames" each collection has for reference it would be greatly appreciated (i.e. S/S 04 = "Strip"). Thanks!![]()
