Don't waste your money on...

AVOID- Clinique rinse off foaming cleanser. I finally figured out that it has been giving me raised red bumps(not acne) that take about 4 days to go away, and making my skin flake. Way to harsh, I think it's because it's so soap based. :yuk:

Anything by clearasil :yuk: , i hate this products, they dry my skin out and does nothing for my t-zone area

I'm loving this thread!!

Any makeup from VS is chalky and nasty
chanel 5 sensual elixir- now I love chanel but my friend bought me this for xmas. It is supposed to be more like a concentrated perfume oil than the eau de parfum but I swear, I put it on and the smell evaporates in minutes. Stick the the spray and don't waste your time for the same price.
Dessert treats- I've seen a lot about this on here. First off, I don't think they are supposed to really be edible. They just smell that way. Anyway, I'm a huge sucker for the smells but I agree they don't work worth a sh*t. The bubble bath produces bubbles that disappear within a minute and the gloss doesn't stay on long. Damn, it smells good though.
LipFusion-I tried this at Sephora. The way it numbed my lips and made them feel like an expanding balloon freaked me out. I prefer the tingly spicy cinnamon sensation to that. I didn't think it was any better than the other varieties for the price either.
Dove 3 minute conditioner- one of the magazines raved about this stuff but it is heavy and doesn't leave my hair feeling silky soft or conditioned at all.

Maybelline Lash Expansion. It really smudges and doesn't do much but tint the lashes. No volumizing or lengthening effect.

I love the Lip Glaze in Grapefruit, but the applicator pen is slightly annoying. Even worse are those eyeshadows that come in the applicator pen... too much comes oozing out all at once.

Eww, eyeshadow in an applicator pen? Gross.

I hear mixed reviews about Rimmel, are they any good?

They're not pigment-dense enough for me.

but if you like something that's very sheer, it might work!

^I hate Rimmel's makeup but strangely enough they have some of the BEST nailpolishes, they're very pigment dense!

bourjois marcara and eyeliner..the mascara dries out really easily and the eyeliner doesn't work unless you press really hard and then it hurts your eyes

very true i just bought their eyeliner the other day bc i lost my mac one and wanted to try something new and you have to press really hard or go over it plenty of times

Thanks!

I wonder how the pigmenting is for Loreal's new HIP line.

Any of those mascaras that comes in a double tube. Where you have to put on the white primer first. The white primer is just gunk and it made my eye lashes fall out.

Hmm, some of these may have been mentioned before, but..

Physcian's Formula Highlighter in Multicolour (not sure if that's the exact name)-I was soo disappointed with this one! I thought it would be wonderful from all the reviews I read, but honestly it made my skin look dull, flaky and pale. After shelling out $20 for this, you can see why I was disappointed.

Vichy Normaderm moisturizer (again, not sure of the name)- It actually works pretty well, but did not absorb at all! Even if I brushed my hand on my cheek it would come off in little clumps. Ugh.

Same with the Vichy "lotion" (Thermal Fix UV) ^

Soy & Calendula moisturizer from TBS-This was actually pretty good, but again it didn't absord and would come off in little clumps.

Seaweed moisturizer from TBS (for Oily Skin)-Didn't stop oilyness at all, and I could only apply this at night as it smelled awful. Also..didn't absorb.

Also, just a tip..ANY mascara, and I mean literally ANY can make your lashes look WONDERFUL, if only you use the Tweezerman eyelash comb. The comb is actually like little needles, but it unclumped even my 5 month old flaky mascara, and made my lashes look long and natural.

I totally agree! it wasn't a bad powder, per se, but it did NOTHING for my skin. Once I tried putting it on half my face, and half my face with regular translucent powdder, and there was no diference at all.

Do not, under any circumstances,be taken in by the Elizabeth Arden 8hr cream hype.

I was given a gift set of the "cult" 8hr cream,8hr lip balm and the 8hr hand cream...and not only are they all really smelly, they also make my skin very dry and breaky outy :( . Heading for the bathroom bin,I'm afraid....

I tried them on as testers in the store and they are seriously not that pigmented. I think loreal's normal eyeshadows are more pigmented!!
