Oh I think the cropped picture was a good idea so people can share the image without all that text. Thanks to both Bela Lugosi & Smilingeyes771 for posting the images!! :flower: It appears to be taken the same evening as this one.

Thanks for posting, don't like her outfit much here, but she still looks cute :D

What's up with her hair? It looks so...oddly cut. She looks sweet; it's cute that she & Warhol are holding hands.

These are my favorite photos of Edie!!:blush:

Btw, can anyone tell me if I should watch Factory Girl?

I love Edie and always have ( Today I've just started thinking about her again) but never saw that movies because so many people panned it.
However, some people say it's great.
Some say it grossly misinterprets Edie's life.
... HELP!!!
Should I watch it? Thanks! :flower:

I just bought this movie on ebay: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0196499/

has anyone seen it?

sorry I´ve been a bit absent lately, and I haven´t watched it until just now.

so, this is a very artsy movie, like a videodiary, with not much talking, mostly city noice or music in the background.
first I thought, oh nice movie, love seeing all the people from the sixties and so on... after about 45 minutes of not seeing Edie at all, I started to wonder how long the movie was, and it´s 2h 47 min...
and I got a bit sick  by all the weird clips and sounds and most of the clips were like fast forwarding.
so I started to click forward to the next chapter, until I found a clip from a new years party, and there she was! nothing special though, she´s just smiling and holding a plastic cup.
after that it´s the clip from velvet´s first appearance, with her dancing around, I think you all have seen it already.

overall... I´m very disappointed.

Watching Factory Girl made me very angry! I'm glad that i saw it though, because i was so curious about it, but it made me feel very sorry for Edie and protective of her, like i didn't want anyone to see this movie and think that it was a true story because it's really far from the truth. As long as you know who Edie was, and you seem to, then Factory Girl won't fool you!

Ohh that's too bad! I hate when i get things on ebay that seem great and then aren't. At least you got to see some rare Edie footage!

^ Thanks for the advice about Factory Girl Babydoll1125!!:flower::blush: Much appreciated!
Btw, does anyone have a clean version ( No text) of this picture? I love brunette Edie!

I say watch it. It's not a truthful or correct telling of her life but it'll at least give you something Edie-related to watch on a boring afternoon. The special features are interesting, too.

Thanks Markie and SusanSuperstar!!
I think I might give it a go. Sienna doesn't really look all that much like Edie I don't think ( Maybe if you had only seen one picture of Edie you would think otherwise) but I'll grit my teeth and bare it!
Thanks so much to everyone who's given me advice!

The Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria, New York, is showing many of Edie's Warhol films again. Here is the link.

Oct. 27 Vinyl, Kitchen, and Beauty #2
Oct 28 Poor Little Rich Girl
Nov. 3 Outer and Inner Space, and Lupe

Is there anywhere online that you can see ' Poor Little Rich Girl'?
Someone needs to open a definitive Edie fanpage, with a compendium of her pictures, videos, monologues, quotes etc.
I would visit it everyday!!!

Poor Little Rich Girl and Beauty #2 are on ebay all the time for about $12 each if you're interested. They used to both be on that one site, if anyone remembers it, but for some reason that web-site really sucked and it was hard to watch videos on it, it took forever!

Just found 10 minutes of ' Little Rich Girl' on Myspace!

Just go to google and type in " Myspace Videos" and I think the first link is called ' Myspace TV'. Go to that and then type in " Edie Sedgwick". It's the last link on the 1st page!:D:flower: Catch it quick before it's taken off!!
