great videos :woot: thanks!

no problem

it's so interesting what George said about Edie, for instance that he didn't think she had a serious thought in her head but hearing her in that bbc interview saying 'to turn on the world for just one moment' seems a bit poetic

I'm still pondering that 'Edie Who?' response from the Factory when word got around of her death. what an intriguing woman she was, not to mention beautiful

OMG michelle so cool, I'm the one that posted the brief edie interview on youtube, I had a tribute to her but it got taken down because I used the song "gold dust woman" by fleetwood mac which really annoyed me because I put alot of time and effort into the video.

I havn't posted anything in such a long time, I'm always having a look on here but have pretty much kept to myself for MONTHS! Well I finally saw ciao manhattan, I found it on ares, and it was absolutly fascinating to watch, I've put it on my ipod and have literally watched it about 10 times, I just find Edie, and anything edie inspired mesmerizing, guys I think I have an Edie addiction. Well that's pretty much all from me, loves ya, x

Hi anina, nice to meet you. Mukava nähdä suomalaisia täällä!

loonaka, that documentary would be interesting to see. Is there a trailer of it? I tried to look on Youtube, but didn´t really find anything..

i always enjoy those factory videos - sometimes the videos are even boring, but i still enjoying them... :P

i'd like to see more about the documentary too, i did a search on the net to see where i could find it available, but i find nothing, too bad

Okay so today I went to the biggest library in my city (which I had never been to) and they had almost EVERY Vogue published there. I found the one with Edie on the Rhino in her apartment and I took a picture of the article. Don't know if anyone has ever posted it, but here is what the article says:

"EDITH SEDGWICK, right, twenty-two, white haired and anthracite black eyes, and legs to swoon over who stars in Andy Warhol's underground movies. "It's like watching Henry Moore sculpture out of focus.", said Edith Sedgwick, who toyed with the movie name Mazda Isphahan for Poor Little Rich Girl. With the pop artist Andy Warhol on camera, undergrounds roll out like crepes: Vinyl is in the can; Vacuum about to turn. "When we find a pure white kitchen." Rich Girl was made in Miss Sedgwick's apartment where she is shown here arabesquing on her leather rhino to a record of The Kinks. (In the background, her sketch of a stallion.) In Paris, Warhol's gang startled the dancers at Chez Castel by appearing with fifteen rabbits and Edie Sedgwick in black leotard and a white mink coat. In her deep, campy voice, strained through smoke and Boston, she said: "It's all I have to wear."

I'll prob be posting the article and the picture of her on the rhino (although it's been seen many times) on my blog later on. (The link is in my sig)

I plan on finding her other Vogue appearance where she has the long hair added on next time I go and I'll get shots from that.
