Whoa whoa whoa Andy never took pictures of Marliyn. He did do, uh, paintings? of her though.

While this could be true that the photographer who did shots of Marilyn could be true, remember Edie was kind of....wanting attention, supposedly making things up, etc. It'd be interesting to find out about the more popular Marilyn photographers and see if they matched up with Edie.

She suffered from anorexia nervosa and clinical depression from what I know.

Anyway back to Edie, I love how she takes simple pieces and makes them her own. I;ve always wondered about that pic of her in the headscarf and thick sweater with the freaky old guy. Anyone know the story behind it?

for anyone whoes reading edies book, or has read it, i just remembered one of my favourite quotes, although i dont have the book with me so i cant remember it properly.

it was the bit about bobby her brother after he was in the bike accident and was i hospital. someone went to visit him, and when they held his hand a stream of tears ran out under the bandages. then the nurses said it was because his tubes were leaking or something.

u cant probably appreciate it because i havent written it properly, but i found that passage in the book just so sad and moving. does anyone else remember that part?
