Very cool clips. I love Edie's dancing and her overall personality.
Factory Girl shed a lot of light on Edie Sedgwick and even though it might not
have been the way you'd like Edie to be reintroduced to the world; it certainly
did give us a few new books about the real Edie.
I'm new to Fashion Spot. have been following this thread for quite some time.

photo credit: edie Sedgwick at the factory. Not sure who took the photo.
I did not see color me shameless... it is a very rare short film.

^^^ Nat Finkelstein. I think that one was at the end of Factory Girl, if I'm not mistaken.

She is always so fabulous when she dances  Thanks for sharing.

i actually think that edie and marilyn monroe were very, very similar in personality- not just looks.
if anyones read anything about mm, like any of the numerous biographies, they definitely have the same personality type. both were yes- naive, childlike, etc, unable to function in the real world, big, loud personalities who needed constant attention and reassurance from everyone around them, including men, but were unable to commit and couldn't cope with proper relationships. both relied heavily on drugs, both had tumultuous relationships with men and obsessions with their fathers/father figures. marilyn may have been a sex symbol, but she wasn't really about sex - she was more afraid of people seeing the real her, and she was taken advantage of, the same way i think edie was taken advantage of as a stylish youth superstar symbol by andy etc.
there are so many more similarities really, but i think they are actually very alike. marilyn, in my opinion, was just as interesting and amazing as edie - absolutely nothing like the image people saw on the outside!

just my 2 cents

That video is great, Smilingeyes, thanks for posting it! Edie is funny! I wonder who took the time to make that, it's really cool.
