Emanuel Ungaro S/S 10 Paris

I don't think it's that bad at all. It's very indicative of what was going on in London and Paris at that time. Maybe I look at it as an "It's so bad it's good" type of thing. I do think that people were a little too harsh on her especially for her first time. Could you imagine how much the reviews would have crushed her? If she had any confidence at all it was most certainly destroyed after this.

It was bad because of that palette. American sportswear was hitting big with the nude/greyscale toned down look. Of course it's bad. And I still don't like it, the same reason for Rodarte or Peter Dundas' first Cavalli collection. Don't try to balance it as on the better side against Saint Laurent or Yeezy, no not this life.

Honestly, this house seems so much better off now -- financially -- than it was when this show and the entire celebrity designer thing was relaunched. I mean to look at the quality of the clothes in this collection and then to see the quality of the clothes that Puglisi is putting out now...the difference is staggering.

Needless to say my opinion hasn't changed much. It still looks like Bebe trying to do Parisienne disco.

God, this show is still iconic. I loveeed the buzz around it, and even though Lindsay is doing really good now, I miss 2009 Lindsay. Pop culture definitely died in 2009, and I miss it.
