Erin Fetherston For Target

i'm not too worried about the line looking too adolescent. the go target consumer is 15-25 anyway.

and H&M right now is absolutely SWIMMING in pinafores with pockets, jumper dresses, babydoll dresses babyish looking stuff. i think a lot of retailers consider this a new silhouette and we will be seeing it everywhere for the next few years.

OMG...perfect words to describe H&M these day , im getting bored of it , no sick of all the baby doll, tunics , rombers and leggings its so played out. Cant wait for 2008 when new looks arrive.

I agree.

I thought all of this stuff was really cute when I first saw pictures but now I'm just so sick of the little girl look. I've actually prohibited myself from buying anymore babydoll dresses.

the red pinafore dress with the pockets and longsleeve grey shirt is featured in the new issue of nylon with the miller sisters on the cover.

i cant wait to see the ads!

ive never been to a Go international launch, so does the whole collection come out on the launch date (Nov 18) or do they stagger it and just release a few items every few weeks?

We had tiered dress at my job (old navy)...We had to ship them all back... Totally tanked. It looks cute with that cardigan though.

Tiered dresses make the wearer look twice her size.

If I see one more dress with a bib on it....

The people who attended the Erin Fetherston seminar at Teen Vogue's Fashion U this year each got a scarf and heart bag from the line. I was at the conference, but I didn't attend her seminar. I saw the fashion show though. Super cute.

here is a short clip featuring some pieces from the collection...
directed by Hedi Ferjani and fraturing (drum roll please)... darla baker

^ wow interesting clip. not my cup of tea but i guess it's somewhat original. that magic powder kills!

Yeah the overwhealming tweeness of that made me want to vomit in my mouth a little. Plus I don't understand the message. Is it "wear Erin Fetherstone's clothes and an evil spirit will turn you into a doll"? 'Cause if that's the case I don't want what she's selling.

I think Target, or as I like to call it Targey has the right ideas about trying to get these designers in the store. Only problem is middle America with the exception of those Fashionistas in the know, don't know who the designers are. Everyones doing a budget line Nov. 8 is Cavalli for HM. It's great to get your name out there but it so hit or miss either the fabrication is off or it's contructed poorly. It's always interesting to see how it will turn out, I personally love my Libertine sweater from Target. Yet, most of the stuff I wouldn't be caught dead in. Vera Wang for Kohls for instance, everyone was so excited but the cloths were made so poorly there already discounted. It's times like these were licences get out of hand and designers starting going the way of Cardine.

Wow. the clothes look fantastic here. i didnt want that red dress before...but now i definitely do.

nypost.com. this suit is completely washable apparently. which is pretty awesome!

I really want a heart shaped bag. the rest i can live without. it's cute but I may be a bit too old for most of it
