I agree with the Evan situation, as we have all seen evidence of that. I can't really say anything with Rose, because I don't know too much about her style, but the thing is with Dita, she had been styling herself that way since she was 16, true, she was more into the fetish side and appearance, and only recently has she favored the retro style more, but I know for sure that her style wasn't dramatically affected by Manson. Just take a glance at photos taken from 2000 and before and you will see what I mean.

Although, I do think that she tended to "darken" her appearance when she was dating Marilyn, or to put it more simply, she was quite gothic at times.

Anyway, back onto Evan, seeing as this is her thread. I would be lying, if I said that her style wasn't really really nice, because I do like it...I'm just difficult to please when it comes to her, because I still kind of hold a grudge against her, for that whole "affair" issue.

I agree!! Evan does channel a bit of Dita though, or at least that was the first thought that crossed my mind, even before i remembered how the two are connected!

However in relation to the similarities in the evan/dita/rose style - marilyn is prob just attracted to a certain 'type' of lady! although evan did have the blonde hair, I do remember her having preference for the volumized 20s wave. Maybe Marilyn just inspires his women to look a certain way!

Funny how it doesnt go the other way - imagine if one day marilyn manson turned blonde!

I really like the dress she is wearing...just not on her. She is seriously over-doing the 'gothic' look at the moment, and it doesn't suit her. The combination of the dress, dyed-black hair and dark make-up on her features just doesn't work in my opinion.

I completely agree with you. I love the style, but I just don't think it looks natural on Evan. Sometimes I think she's trying to prove that she can pull it off, and tries too hard in the process. Whereas Dita could throw on anything in the glamorous wardrobe and look like an icon for her style.
Rose did change ever-so-slightly, but only on certain occasions. She'd sometimes wear her hair in the tight-curled curled, but I've seen many pictures of her and Manson where she'd stuck to her original straight hair. Her make-up was never over the top and her clothing choices seemed natural for the type of the person that she was.

Maybe I'm being over-critical of Evan because of my love for Dita, but I honestly do think that the style does look forced on her.

I really do think the look she's been going with for the Wrestler promos is way too harsh. I think at times it even alters her figure in a very unflattering way. I'd love, love, love to see her with a chocolate brown, but this obsession with black and ghost white seems like it's just beginning. I really think she could get away with softening her look without losing the "edge" she seems so determined to obtain.
