F/W 06.07 Ad Campaigns

I doubt that revlon will sign all those models at the same time .

Maybe there will be one or two in each of their different endevors? Like, Bianca will do mascara ads, Ujjwala will do hair dye or something?

I think only Isabeli Fontana has concrete evidence that she was signed by Revlon. The Flair Fragrance was already launched and Eva Mendes and Revlon CEO was there.

It sounds suspicious that Revlon would sign all those models at once. Maybe Ujwalla, Bianca and Yasmine are in a multi girl campaign, playing second fiddle to Eva Mendes or kate Bosworth or one of their other actresses signed to contracts. Sort of like how L"oreal does with its campaigns and ads mixing Milla J., Beyonce et al with models.
Or maybe it's just one of those Internet rumours like the one about Avril Lavigne having been signed to Chanel.

Oh, maybe we could see another "Beauty from all over the world..." campaign! Back in the early 90's, Milla Jovovich, Talisa Soto, Iman, and Jerry Hall, amongst others, did a campaign for Revlon that was all about international beauty. All of this girls are from different countries... who knows? :woot:

I remember those ads. It was probably the best campaign I've ever seen. I remember seeing one ad with Cindy C, Christy T, Linda and some other girl. Linda and Christy weren't supermodels yet and Cindy hadn't completely exploded but it was an amazing ad. And I remember the one with Iman and Jerry Hall and two other women. I can go on and on about what amazing pictures they were.

Julia & Madonna: Markdown Models
When we think bargain shopping, Julia Roberts and Madonna aren't exactly the first names that leap to mind. But it appears that won't stop the Oscar winner and the pop icon from descending from their respective mountains of money to shill for companies known for their reasonably priced products.
Us Weekly reports Roberts, 38, is thisclose to inking a lucrative deal to flash her famous mile-wide smile for Avon.
"Avon wants a new face," an insider tells the mag. "Julia can do that for them. People don't necessarily think of her as an Avon kind of woman."
The A-list mom of twins Hazel and Phinnaeus would reportedly pull down more than double the $1 million to $2 million currently being pocketed by Salma Hayek, who began modeling for the company back in 2004.
Still, some might consider the cosmetic deal a come-down for Roberts, who a few months back was reportedly in negotiations to front a perfume campaign for Christian Dior, only to have the tony design house abruptly back out of the deal.
The actress, who ends her sold-out but critically eviscerated Broadway run in "Three Days of Rain" on June 18, most recently modeled -- with a dour expression and tragically slicked-back tresses -- for designer Gianfranco Ferré.
Madonna, meanwhile, may doff her ubiquitous leotard and cover her tremendously toned body with some trendy togs from H&M, which believes in "fashion for everyone -- and always at the best price."
The London Mirror says the disco-loving couture enthusiast, 47, is closing in on a deal to stump for the Swedish-based, youth-oriented clothing chain, which kicked Kate Moss to the curb last fall following her cocaine scandal.
"Madonna is in talks with H&M but nothing has been 100 percent confirmed yet," the Big M's rep tells the paper. According to Sweden's Expressen newspaper (via Vogue UK), Madonna, who's previously struck a high-fashion pose for Versace and a more casual one for the Gap, will model the company's new exclusive line from Viktor & Rolf, which will arrive on shelves in November. info from MSN News
