Yeah. There's random hints of colour in random in random places. And I'm familiar with the Opium having ads with darker set-ups (?).

iggy pop is doing john varvatos...from fwd:

John Varvatos has tapped rock icon Iggy Pop to star in his fall 2006 advertising campaign. The images, photographed by Grammy-nominated music documentarian Danny Clinch at such landmark locations as the St. Regis Hotel and Central Park, will launch exclusively on men.style.com on June 25 before running in August issues of select fashion magazines. As it has done for the past three seasons, Varvatos collaborated by creative agency Yard and its director, Stephen Neidzwiecki, in constructing the campaign. “There was a moment in Central Park when a light rain began to fall just as Iggy stretched out on a bench—Danny, Stephen, and I all looked at each other and we all felt the same magic,” Varvatos said. “It was the real thing.”

I guess the table with the opium bottle & orchide vase are not powerful enough in the OPIUM ad...I mean that circle would be enough to know it is opium,it is an icon...there is no need to show the bottle ...

however i like the concept
