No doubt Riccardo Tisci knows which models suits which house. Mariacarla would be wrong for Christian Dior.

Has anything been mentioned about the upcoming Dior campaign? Anything confirmed? I would imagine Karlie to still be reigning, for a safe bet. I'd be surprised if Jac's shoot turned out to be the campaign.

totally agree with u about dior and mcb. it would be a dumb move for tisci to have mcb front dior. i find mcb is a bit too stiff and fierce for the house of dior. i find models with a soft and sl*tty look better fit the house.

I wouldn't mind seeing Karlie again on the Dior campaign. Well, if ever there will be one. MCB doesn't suit the Dior aesthetic IMO.

Well, all good things come to an end, so the time will eventually come for Karlie to be gone from Dior. God knows what made John keep her for so long anyway.

Besides, it's hard to say this or another model would be wrong for Dior, I guess it's a sure bet Tisci's gonna bring a new image to the house, or at least refresh it in his manner. In any case, I'm sure he knows what he's doing.

Can soft and sl*tty actually go together?

yes dear. if feminine and masculine can go together then what is a big deal about soft and sl*tty.

jessica stam can look very soft and classy and also soft and sl*tty as well. her bvlgary is very soft and classy but her aldo, la senza and mercedez benz are very soft and sl*tty. and that is just one example. tonnes of models can look soft and at the same time sl*tty. just flip through the pages of vogue paris then u will get my point.

Reading previous threads and I was thinking of Jessica Stam too, she's such a chameleon, her previous Dior Ad was amazing, she could be the face of the Fall Ad, though I'm secretly wishing Julia Saner could do it. :D

^That's great news!

There's no need to dear me. I wasn't making a big deal out of it. I was just wondering, since sl*tty and soft are such contradicting terms. But thanks for the effort :flower: It all makes sense now.

Damn where have I been? At the Estee Lauder counters in the U.K. her pictures were still up this past Christmas!

how many models do l'oreal have? a million? i feel every celebrity on the planet is the face of l'oreal.

good for liya tho. she's a very pretty girl so she' deserves another cosmetic contract.

I'm struggling to picture Liya flicking her hair and telling everyone their worth it. But whatevs.

I can0t believe what i'm reading! MCB doesn't fit in Dior? She can fit in every brand, she can be dark and misterious for Givenchy, or sexy and italian for Pucci and also feminim and french for Dior, she can be every woman, thats why she is a top model.
