My favorites so far are Alexina (from UK, I'm sure I've seen her in an agency in London, have to remember which one ) and Daria from Belarus... also the Icelandic girl looks nice but it's hard to tell just on that picture or why not the Slovenian one... will see !

Dundrum Town Centre&1st Options Models present-Ford Supermodel of the world Winner 2008​

Lesley Taylor, 16, has been declared winner of the Irish final of the 2008 Ford Supermodel of the World Search, in association with proud event partners Dundrum Town Centre. Lesley, who hails from Wicklow was chosen at the Leinster heat in Dundrum Town Centre and will represent Ireland at the world final being held in New York in January 2008.
The much anticipated final saw the 20 final contestants put through their paces before a panel of judges including International representatives from Ford Models who had flown in especially for this event. Lesley wowed the judges with her natural ability on the catwalk whilst modeling Christmas fashion collections from Dundrum Town Centre.

Lesley will be flown to New York to take part in the global final of the Ford Models Supermodel of the World where she will compete with her international counterparts to win one of only three coveted contracts, totaling $500,000, with the Ford Model Agency. Lesley has now also been signed up to top Irish modeling agency, 1st Option Models.

That's too bad they have such an amazing board (and too bad we can't see more of their new faces than their ridiculously small thumbs...) In a glittering ceremony at the InterContinental, Mumbai – Shubra Aiyappa from Bangalore was chosen as the winner for the Indian Round of the Ford Model Supermodel of the World Contest 2005, presented by ZOOM.

Mumbai girl Afsha Khan was the first runner up, while Shrestha Paul from Kolkatta was selected as the second runner up. Shubra will fly to New York in January 2006, and compete with girls from 45 other countries, for the hugely respected title of the Ford Supermodel of the World.

Other than the prestigious title Shubra will also be competing for a cash prize of $ 250,000 and a modeling contract with the prestigious Ford Models.

Some of experts on the jury were Fashion czars, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, Actor/Dancer Isha Sharvani, Iris Miner, Director, Ford- New York and Pooja Batra amongst others.

All the thirteen finalists have been going through rigorous training for the last 1 month, with specialists like – Sheetal Malhar, Achala Sachdeva, Marvie Beck, Avan Contractor, Nandita Mahtani, Gavin Miguel and Sanjeev Mulchandani.

In January she flies to New York for the world finals, where she will also meet the elite of modeling industry.
