The sixth and final day of Supermodel of the World in São Paulo saw the crowning of our winner Karlina.

Congratulations to the new Ford Supermodel of the World and the Runner-ups! Well deserved I must say…congratulations as well to all the girls who participated, they are winners in their own right

Anyhow, I still can’t get over that Croatia, Lithuania or UK didn’t make it. On the bright side, Canada, Dominican Republic and France are already with Ford!

The BIG WINNER of the Night was LATVIA. They actually sent 2 girls: Karlina who represented Baltics (the eventual winner) and Megija who represented the country itself. After the runway, the TOP 8 were announced and then the TOP 5. Ford didn’t include this in their press release but Megija (Latvia) placed 8th in the finals yes! 2 girls from Latvia won that night I don’t find it surprising because both girls look very promising!

Latvia’s double win officially solidified the strong ties between 2B Latvia and Ford NY. I don’t find it surprising because I love it! Go 2B! Go Ford!

The Ford Models Supermodel 2010 finale held at the massive Casa Fasano space provided the hordes of photographers with a feast of photo-ops, from the 36 beauties in competition, Balenciaga babe Chanel Iman, a Margiela clad Stephen Gan, local star Marcelle Bittar to every male model on Ford Brazil’s audacious board. Throw in a live samba band led by 4 sizzling dancers, hot beats by a banging DJ and floods of Sao Paulo’s beautiful people and what you have was a spectacle!

Charlene's beautiful, and we all the know the runner-ups have a better track record anyway (though Karlina really was my favourite this year), let's wait and see what Ford can/will do for her.

te winner is always decided only "to thank" some mother agencies working well for Ford. (also the same for Elite ML)
Yes you are right, a few years back, a Lithuanian agency was doing great job for Ford, and was making selection in all baltic state, and...a girl from that agency won and...did nothing significant in modeling after.

since 2 years 2B models, is not far from being an official Ford office in the baltic, in real fact, they are already, just they keep their own name for some reasons. So, it was obvious that this year a 2bmodel girl would win.
