jessi77us you look great!! i'm so jealous =/ i tried it on today and the volume on the sleeves was too much for me

i bought the bow top and the other top with the single bow tie. will post pics soon =]

caffeine and jessi, it looks like you really know what looks good on you because I am awestruck. wonderful choices.

thank you so much guys!
jessy, it looks amazing on you! i bet you are very tall. you look even better than the model! very impressive!!

Thanks everybody for such kind comments!
caffeine i'm 5'9 but with those heels i'm 6 ft! lol
clucreciala please post I can't wait to see your pics!

jessie that dress looks like it was made for you! what size did you get? are you wearing something underneath?

Thanks Lucy92.:flower: I got a small because i felt the xs was too short for me. And in the pic i'm not wearing a slip or tank underneath. Maybe i need to check in real sunlight first, but I don't find it to be too sheer at all.

wow jessie...lookin' good!
the dress looks great with your prada sandals...:P

just fyi: the doo ri shirt dress with tie is completely transparent. really adorable on but you have to wear some kind of a slip underneath to avoid exposing yourself.

i got the rodarte tank and dress. love both!

as promised...here are pics of the some of the shirts and dresses i tried on. i tried on 6/9 items. the ones i did not try on were the bow dress and the trapezee top by rodarte as well as the pleated shirt by doo ri.

the scarf shirt was very sheer and low. i didn't even take a pic of it coz i looked horrendeous with it on.

the non puffy dress by thakoon...my bf said i looked like a nurse with it on. it was very big and unpleasent looking on me.

belted dress shirt by doo ri. this must have been the 6th time i tried something on i didn't even bother to take what i had off as you can see. lol. i didn't like how it looked on me. so i passed.

i love how this dress looks on the model. but certainly not on me. GAP sizes run big as it is but this dress was HUGE on me being an xs. sadly, i also had to pass on this.

these are the 2 shirts i got

now that i'm looking at my own pic i think i might be having 2nd thoughts about this shirt. i'll try to mizx and match it with some stuff and see how it works out.

both pieces look great!! I really like them!

I think the doo.ri shirt dress looks very flattering on you. now I'm glad I ordered it.

I like this... I like the trapeze top the most, and just the whole b&w look... great model choices too!

it really is a shame for me that these garments dont come in colours other than white.

i also think a lot of folks that are size L-XXL are going to shun wearing white for fear of making them look bigger than they are. that is a fear than i have certainly. and i am not size L.

The idea/construction of the petal shirt dress certainly seems impressive!

i'm looking forward to Caffeine's pictures!

Not me. I am a L/XL and don't really care about "appearing bigger," because my culture doesn't care. I put a couple of the Rodarte trapeze blouses on hold at a Gap store, because they are gone online.

k, I've received my gap order and tried it all on, (very exhausting). keepers for me, are the doo.ri shirtdress (not too sheer and very flattering while being carefree and fun), the doo.ri camp shirt is nicely tailored, fitted and will look great with fitted narrow pants. the rodarte bow dress and trapeze blouse are definites as well, they have wondrful details and are very well made. from what I can tell all of the blouses and dresses seem well-made. so it seems I have 4 pieces that work for me. sadly, the rodarte bow blouse wasn't my taste, it's looks too young on me and a little low cut for my shape, I wish I could have rocked it like you guys did, but you've got to know what works for you and doesn't.

I received my order, Doo.Ri pleated shirt and Rodarte bow blouse, today as well. Out of my surprise that Doo.Ri shirt is very tailored. The only thing I am worried about is what they will look like after washes.

i got the rodarte bow blouse today and i love it...fabric was nicer than expected, and i love the shape! it's very cute and youthful, but that works for me because i'm petite, i suppose. maybe i will post a pic later this weekend.

i still would like to dye the color, though, since white never holds up too well for me. does anyone think this fabric will take dye well?

i would think so. Isn't it just 100% white untreated cotton? You could always just test a wee small bit of it. also clucrecia i was thinking i know you were unsure about the second top you bought but i think if you just took in the cuff of the sleeves a wee bit it would help immensely. but i still think it looks good regardless

i saw the collection...it's nice but 80- 90 $ for "GAP"...no...please!
sorry, but lately GAP is more and more expensive...for that prices I get designer discount clothes or I reather spend 200$ for better brand.
The same for ZARA or H&M...
Just go to deparment stores, discount stores or designer second hands and if you will look you will find great designer clothes for really good price.
