Gareth....puke

It has been season he din't make a strong and innovative collection. This looks so amateurish, the furs look cheap, always the same constructions, shoulder lines... The swan song ?

When looking through this I couldn't help but think the theme here was "bathrooms": mirrors, tiles, toilet paper, fluffy towels and toilet covers, rubber and plastic, etc., it's all there! I love it!

Some looks are divine! I want the dress in the first pic.

not sure why anybody would expect something different from this man, i like what he does and he does it well. i like that he makes more wearable clothing these days also (for the most part). great show.. oh ! and i'm glad he has retracted from using lots of black.

^ Pugh does do his style well. I like this collections very much. Especially the silver metallic pieces and the plastic clear trash bag dresses  Not to keen on the papery ones..

:P You nailed it Psylocke! The last look is the shower curtain and shower cap! :D

uhm... yeah. I mean... It started kinda interesting but it's on endless repeat throughout the whole collection, he basically had one idea "dark can be white" and just stock with it throughout the collection... interesting concept but there's a huge lack of further and more interesting ideas...

doing this kind of non-commercial fashion craves a very idea-full mind

I love this collection, especially those trouser/boots hybrids are gorgeous

You know, I can't help but see Gareth as remaining in the shadow of Alexander McQueen the man. Whereas McQueen would always have a bountiful of ideas for a collection, that of which, by sheer force of talent and vision, would always be curated into a single, and cohesive direction-- Gareth would borrow an idea of McQueen's, and create a collection-- and even good collection, from that one kernel of an idea. And it was interesting.

But now that McQueen the man is gone, I feel Gareth's repository of ideas is also gone, so he's had to recycle the same design ideas, over and over-- just with different materials. The same shapes are there: The platformed foot, the great and dramatic coat dress... Much the same manners in which Sarah handles things at the McQueen label herself. Both him and Sarah seem to be stuck in a loop that I hope they're able to free themselves of, and come up with something entirely of their own.

I agree, first thing I thought is it even cannot be regarded as Pugh does McQueen. Psylock, don't forget the rug and bubble bath inside that open collar (another very McQueeny)
