Gareth Pugh S/S 2013 Paris

I am disappointed, the gothic space vampires are not really doing it for me. There are a few looks I like, only one that I love. He can do better.

I dont usualy like Pugh and all of his last colections were one note but this was amazing!
I loved all of this!!

Nice but he lost that certain something long time ago!!

what?
Gareth can actually do wearable?
a quite pleasant, well executed surprise

even though the whole collection seems totally 'retro' circa '90s '00s

A goth girl's wet dream. Possibly one from the 90s.

It felt really McQueen inspired imho, or at least some of the pieces. The silhouettes and construction were really reminiscent of his earlier collections. That being said, I still enjoyed it!!

Wow, this is really amazing. Liking it more than what he's been doing lately. I'm drooling over the short grey fringed dress which looks like a short version of the wedding dress he did for Katie Shillingford

:woot: Black leather Geishas!!! Oh Gareth! :flower:

Also loving the electric red, his "leather lace" and the elegance of the cream looks.

Fantastic collection!

I got a very True Blood vibe from the first several looks, especially with those leather corsets. Can totally see Pam rocking those.

All I can see are flamenco pants (and sleeves?), but it's nice to have corsets paired with something other than the obvious skirts... The white/off-white corset look is actually standout.

With the neckline of the jackets and those corsets, there was a really strong reference of McQueen from around the late 90s. The references are almost too overbearing. It felt like there was no other vision in this collection other than trying to recreate the feel from the McQueen pieces that he was referencing.

Obviously, it isn't a bad collection. How could it be, since it looks so McQueen. I just don't think it's a very good collection at all. It probably will sell well, though.

Wow this is really beautiful, love the Geisha inspiration. Finally something that doesn't look like Rick Owens or is completely unwearable...

The all black outfits with ruffled blouses are amazing,So is the closing outfit. The rest,I don´t like it really.

Awww, I really love it; but I am a self-admitted sucker for anything goth. And I love the clean lines, the wearability of this collection. Nice!
