Givenchy S/S 2011 by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott

Definately let down by the later images; models wearing the clothes, photoshopped into a group.
I'm disappointed but I think those original images are strong enough to support the others (if they're shown together).

This is to represent that magnificent collection? It's lacking energy. Regardless of Natasha, this isn't doing anything for me. However I do find the shot with Mariacarla and Daphne appealing. Iris and Saskia are nailing it together too. But it's unfortunate that the potential isn't being fulfilled to the maximum.

Personally the first 2 are the best.....It's kinda disappointed. Too much expectation

Well that was underwhelming. After the last few campaigns this one is a bore.

My favorites are still the 1st 2 ones with double exposure.

This is lame, not even Mariacarla can save this....

Awful collection so naturally an awful campaign. I agree with all who say the first image with Daphne is the best. The last image where Daphne is presented somewhat as a "mirror" of Mariacarla is strange to me. It would have been much better if they had Lara and Daphne in the same shot as mirror images of each other. That would have been more ghostly, no?

Also, I can't believe they only gave Natasha one shot; and one that she is only featured in barely! The woman dyed her hair a different colour just for this campaign and she only got one shot? Besides that, her face is the most powerful here. What a waste of Natasha!

And finally those haircuts on Iris and the other girl are laughable. Seriously, they look horrendous. Ugly haircuts will never be "edgy" to me, regardless of how many times they are shoved down our throats. Iris is so beautiful, but with that bowl-haircut, she looks farcical.

Agree, it's my dream to see Daphne & Lara together, in campaign or in editorial.

there is no spark in the new images. It's almost as if they added MCB and Poly to the cast just for their names. MCB's individual photo is almost there, but her expression is lacking in what Stephen and Daphne are giving. Poly looks beautiful but a bit caught off guard. The last image with Daphne and MCB almost does it for me, but something is off. The first two white images are still the best hands down. what a random campaign

New shots definitely didn't live up to the expectations, but it's still amazing how MCB manages to look captivating in such a simple shots.

Ugh, I'm so mad about it too! Really, girl is an exclusive at the show and her presence in the advertising campaign is so poor. What a letdown.

My problem with this is that the pure white worked only for the two shots with Stephen and Daphne, but it doesn't for the whole set to me. I don't know, the other shots just lack something, some kind of quirk, haunting vibe that made the runway show so dramatic. The collection had quite a potential for an interesting campaign, but all the other ones don't move me.

Still loving the two white ones, they're brilliant.

This has to be the biggest disappointment thus far. The clothing selection is poor as well as the models poses. MCB has no spice in this nor does Natasha, there isn't a consistent mood in these shots. The first two white images would have been enough...

The four newest images are quite frankly disappointing. They lack the eerie feeling that the first two had created so perfectly.

I'm so underwhelmed. I had such great hope for this campaign.

I've never really cared for their campaigns but this one is very interesting visually. It looks so cool. Daphne's shot is the strongest to me. It would have worked better in color and with Simon:cry:.

I think some of the shots would look better in color. Nonetheless, I'm not disappointed of it, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott did a great job.
