I really like Serena's latest look. Everything is balanced and I'm happy that she actually looks classy and not cheap like she unfortunately sometimes does.

That shade of blue looks fantastic on Serena.

I didn't love Serena's Paris outfits though - hated the one above, and the one with the blue harem pants and gold blazer with the massive bags. She looks like those stereotypical 'Loud American Tourists' (who I know, don't represent all tourists, or all Americans) who are dressed up in blingy designer stuff, ordering the sales assistants around on Avenue Montaigne/Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré...

I was actually hoping the Paris fashion - especially for Clemence, would be a bit more understated. You know, some cute tailored trousers, silk blouses, mini Kelly bags slung over the shoulder with cool flat Isabel Marant type ankle boots. I guess what Eric Daman has done though will work better on TV.

I didn't mean to say she explicitly had to wear those brands (I do believe I said Isabel Marant type?), but just the general atmosphere of that sort of styling which is very French was not apparent at all in what we've seen so far. Basically, what Clemence wears usually - she's such a jeans + blouse/oversized shirt + loose cardigan sort of girl!

Even if she's not rich - I just expected her to be in oversized shirts, cute boots (Isabel Marant style ankle boots, I'm talking about the subtle beige suede ones, are all over Paris - the girls there don't just wear IM but Zara and other chain store brands) and leather vintage style satchels. And not just Clemence but Serena and Leighton. Though I understand they do have to dress a certain way for TV, it's such a fake, kitschy, American-ised Paris.
