^ The Skull and crossbones may be part of a RL/Rugby logo collection and velvet (or more correctly probably velour) evening slippers are a somewhat 'normal' part of a dinner/smoking jacket outfit....Generally worn for entertaining at home when sipping Napoleon brandy...Favored by those ex-officers of the Royal Hussars who served with the Light Horse in the Punjab, Old Sport...so it's not quite as bizarre as it may seem...
