I just saw the silver in Bazaar, too, and I'm drooling right now just thinking about it. That will most definitely be my next bag purchase. Oh, and have any of you had any problems with the paint wearing off your bags? My St. Louis is starting to show some wear, and I was wondering how difficult it would be to have it re-painted...

I have seen more and more green Goyard bags lately... they look so so chic. I want one now.

I read that the green Goyard St. Louis pms are really popular w/ the NY fashion editor set. I wonder why green in particular? Can't deny that I want one, though ^_^

^Yah, I've seen a lot of front row pics on style.com with editrix (sp?)-looking types carrying green Goyard St. Louis PMs. I'm not so sure how green became such a popular color. My favorites are the burgandy and now, the silver. :)

Was just in NYC for a couple of weeks. There are fake totes everywhere, it is insane. Some of which mispelled Goyard, but I saw many that didn't...just an FYI to those looking on Ebay.

^Yes. I would call it a super-dark fuschia, I guess. Or maybe super-dark magenta. I always get the two shades confused - one is more pink, one more purple, and the one I'm referring to is the more purple shade, of course.

It's been exactly two months since my goyard was sent in for customization. it is still MIA :(

^ my green one was 1800 euros I believe...that's like $2400 I think...but they have different prices for different colors..the original color is the cheapest :)

Is it so that the black one is cheaper?
If so, how much is it in $ for a medium St.Louis?

^actually the maroonish one is the "original color" I think the size is variable, but it goes from a super super small version to a the small version (PM) to the big version (GM)

How much does the customization run for now? Say if I get something from Paris but bring it to Barneys to be painted, will they be able to do that?

^ Well when I brought mine into Barneys to get customized, they wanted proof that I actually had purchased it there, for authenticity purposes i guess... so I guess if you just keep the receipt from goyard in Paris, they will be happy to send it in to the goyard in SF. The Barneys in LA, Boston, NYC are the only ones the have goyard...and so does bergdorf. I spent about $310, which is standard for initials (up to 6 letters i think) and stripes (3 stripes) in pretty much any design you can fathom. Ill post pictures of mine if i ever get it back!

Thanks! Yea, the only reason to get goyard is to have it customized. If I get to go to Paris this winter I'd like to get one there since it's so much cheaper there; however, I probably don't have time to wait for it to be painted so I'll probably bring it to either Bergdorf or Barneys when I get back...though I heard that the Barneys-Goyard relationship is kinda strained lately :innocent:
