Hmmm, I don't know what to make of this campaign. One of the fundamental problems I have is the clothes, the collection itself was mixed (some good pieces and some bad ones too) and I don't care for the items that were selected for the campaign and especially how they fit in with the background / setting - I don't know if it is that the stylist made a bad call with the clothes s/he selected or if it is just a matter of my taste and preferences. I am pretty sure that I would LOVE! this photo if Raquel was in a different outfit and probably this one too but to a lesser degree.

One thing that is bugging me is Raquel's pushed out face and almost hooded eyes - I don't know if it was her idea or if that is how she was directed, regardless it is not a flattering angle and just brings down the pictures a bit. I do think that there is a richness and sumptuousness (including M+M's steroidal sky enhance the pictures and I can see that having drawing power when thumbing through the magazine, so that is a good thing. While I think that the photos could have been better by quite a few notches, I can't say that overall the campaign is a failure.

The last picture posted looks SO fake and also badly photoshopped...where's Nikola's shoe reflection in the box?And what about the metal detailing of Raquel's dress...plus her legs and face seems very unnatural
The shots are acqually pretty good but the execution is pretty poor this time
