Right now I wanna renew my portfolio as well as build a network here in the US, so I am willing to work with you on a theme and a whole concept for your brand as well as for your ad campaigns for a really low price.

Aspiring Fashion Stylists in Los Angeles wanted ....

I need several assistants/dressers to help me out at a charity fashion show in Los Angeles ... on Sunday, Oct. 22, 2006. We are all volunteering ... so there is no pay. But if you've always wanted to work backstage at a fashion show ... this is your ticket.

I've got 12 professional plus models to dress in 5 or 6 designers' lines. I can't do it all alone!! Help!!!

The vibe is young, trendy and a bit sexy ... it's to foster body acceptance so the cause is worthy. I'll need help all day ... until the show is over ... about 4 PM.

I'm in university now, finishing up a double degree in Law and Accounting. I intend to pursue an MBA after a couple of years...

I would like to know if anyone in this fabulous forum works as an executive for Chanel Inc or Chanel Pte Ltd (US, Asia, Australia, Europe)? Or any other luxury fashion corporation?

My dream job is to be a business development executive for Chanel (my passion). I'm studying in Sydney australia now, been here for 7 years (I was born and bred in Singapore) but I don't mind relocating practically ANYWHERE to work towards my dream job. I dont think my parents would be totally supportive of me dumping my "plan" to become a litigator so I would need to have a concrete prospectus for them since they put me through law school...

I've been learning french and I can speak mandarin (good for HK/SouthEast Asia).

What else can I do or should I do?

I'd appreciate ANY help I can get!

as part of my fashion marketing course i am required to do a placement from the begining of january for a year or less.

i was just wondering if anyone in London required a fashion student to do a placement, i would be greatful if you would pm me with a job description.

im not quite sure what i would like to do at this moment in time and would take most jobs as i see it as an opportunity to test the waters of working in the fashion industry and am willing to try.

Hi!

I am currently living in Newport, RI and working for a megayacht brokerage. I would give anything to be able to work in the fashion/retail industry. I have applied everywhere I can think of in the area but saying you want to work in fashion in RI is like saying you want to be a lobsterman in idaho....

This is my desperate attempt at soliciting advice from the experts here at TFS. I have a mortgage and a car payment so I obviously would need to be compensated in whatever job I take... I am just looking to get my foot in the door and gain some experience. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

in urgent need of a t-shirt sample maker in australia

does anyone know of a good sample maker in QLD, for t-shirts? We have our own specific cuts, so we cannot just go to a screenprinter and have them printed, because they only have the basic style t-shirts.

The only problem is we have a photoshoot scheduled for the 6th december (1 month away), and have 25 t-shirt designs that would need to be ready by then... Unfortunately, we cannot postpone the photoshoot, because we have 2 male models from germany who will be leaving australia on the 10th december.

Can anyone suggest a good.. sample maker. I live on the gold coast, so anyone within one hours drive would be perfect, or in brisbane would be great?

Also, do you think it would be possible to get all the 25 different samples ready by then?

hi Allvogue, i recall a supplier that visited us here in Bahrain months ago to pitch for making the V8 race t-shirts. i'm not sure where their company is located in Australia but i'll check the contacts tomorrow at the office and send to you. you do have a very very short period before your photoshoot though and i really wish you luck and hope you manage to get these samples before

kate - have you tried looking at RIDM or something like that. I mean the big Rhode Island school of design. Maybe taking an evening course there would help you out a bit.
