i have bought three pair now....my acne tubes, the ones iloveanderson posted, and the high waisted skinny corset jeans from topshop. i love them, they make me look very skinny. i look a little too skinny in the corset ones almost, but they flatter me because i have a bum (def. a letter b bum) and a tiny waist, i'm usually a 2 or 27.

i really like my high-waisted skinny jeans from H&M and Cheap Monday, but i have to say that im sure not everyone will be able to pull it off that well. i think these jeans are just for those who are courageous enough to pull off a different trend and not something everyone will be wearing. basically, thats why i choose to wear high waisted jeans because no one where i live wears them. and plus my crack doesnt show. hehe

I found a pair of 1990's high waisted slim jeans and they made my bum look huge and i am not fat. I am going to try new ones and hopefully they will look good because i really like the look.

I hate to spoil the fun, but I think that is a model styled to look like Jane Birkin. Jane is about 60 years old now.

THOSE JEANS THAT MODEL IS WEARING ARE AWESOME!!! they give you that tall glass of water sihlouette (as catryn horn of NY times says ) ....you can only acomplish that with the higher waists.

acne jeans are uber high waisted

they are like 13-14 inch rises , way to high for me,but they do look good ,very studio 54 and club ready.......btw somebody said higher waists cant be flattering ...au contraire...they are tummy tuck jeans out there with cross weaves in the front which flatter for those people who dont wont fat hanging out and too look thin........so technology has improved.......

I think designers that are making high waited jeans need to alter the pockets. I think the larger the pockets, the bigger the butt ends up looking.

I bought some fairly high waisted jeans yesterday ("8.5 rise) kinda like the pair Mischa wore some time ago. I don't think that a higher rise would look good hip-wise, but this is just perfect. They don't make my hips look wide, but definately more curvy.
