I hope this is not a repost in this thread, but I just noticed this image in the Italian Street Style thread

Those sort of look like the skyscrapper Cheap Mondays--I don't know of anyone else that makes a plain-front super high waisted jean like that. It looks quite odd, but more subtle because of the coat.

Also, Manchesterlooks had an example--the puffing in the front makes it look ew.

I don't think those look bad (on the second girl).. maybe because I like womanly silhouettes, and she's obviously pretty slim otherwise. Maybe without the belt and with a jacket would have looked better though, to even it out.

I know what you mean. I like all sorts of bodies. I know I don't look hot full frontal, and I am a 26! So the camera can be deceptive. I actually prefer her jeans to the others.

I love my Grey Ant high waist jeans, I just wish I wore them more often.

Me too! I love my Grey Ants... the fit is perfect and the high waist makes such a feminine shape/feeling... curvy in the best way!


As for the ladies with the bulges/ripply front to the high rise jeans.... I think it can be mostly attributed to sitting for too long with bad posture

Lee High Rize Supatube
I measured it to be a 9" rise.
They are not extremely high rise, but the rise is higher than those of most jeans currently available. Probably more of a mid-rise, technically (if there are technical definitions.....) I love these jeans, i loved finding them.... A PERFECT FIT!

i definitely was not talking about her hips, but the puffiness at the waist and lap.

I recently got these at Topshop.
The picture doesn't do them justice, they actually have a very nice fit.
Kate Moss was wearing these a while ago, but i can't find the pictures.

I am pretty short too. Dont know how much in inches, but I´m about 164 cm.
And the ones I got from Topshop comes in 30" legs which is perfect for me.

thats ok .. mine were £12 .. its just on ebay people try to sell primark jeans etc for like £100 and dresses for rediculas ammounts was just checking you didnt get ripped off .. but sounds like u got a bargin
