High Waisted Jeans #1

im washing the jeans right now, they've been soaking in a salt/vineger bath since this afternoon. as soon as they're dry, i'll get some pics up. hopefully they wont bleed color anymore either..

I got these on sale and as much as I adore these jeans, I'm returning them. I was in such denial that they weren't right for my body type (a.k.a. barely there bums).

yeah they are good , i think 7's ginger jean is the best , but lot of celebs have worn this jean , the geogia peking jean, jessica alba in particular.

Does anyone have advice on wedges that are easy to walk in? I love wearing wedge heels with my high-waisted flares but they clunk around and it gets difficult maybe some with padding or something..

you get cork ease type sandals , and foam wedges they are damn comfy , i like em better than flats , i like the support and plus i feel taller. Macys has a lot of them on sale. They dont clunk , i personally like the sound lol, but yeah they feel like your walking on air. mind you they are more available in spring then fall. So head to the sales rack.

how high does the rise have to be to be considered high waisted?

well a 9-10 inch is mid rise , greater than 11 inches is high waisted IMO , but relative to low rise jeans , which have 6-7 inch rises , 9 inch is considered high waisted but going according to classic definitions 9-10 inch is at waist or mid rise and >11 inches is high waisted.

ack! those jeans i bought are going back. the color is still rubbing off really bad and im not risking ruining shirts or handbags just for the sake of having them. i have dark wash levis and have never experienced color transfer this bad before. the weird thing is that when i wash them, the color doesn't even come out in the wash that much, but if you have anything lightly colored and it comes in touching contact with the fabric, it rubs right off the jeans and onto whatever is touching them...EEEWWWW!

i even tried the vineger/salt wash to set the dye...and it didn't really do a damn thing...

That is really weird , the dying process must be really cheap. Any case they are a lot of other good brands , not at those prices but at least you wont have them bleed on you . Eventhough fit is great , its not worth it if it is dying everything you touch.

am thinking about hte earnest sewn whiley'--but I thin they might be too high, and make the legs look shorter actually. this is important since i will be wearing them as shown--no heels. It is btw these and 18th amendment raw rinse colberts.

^The wash on those is cool.. I like the extra height too like on other 18th amendments.

Those would look bad on me though.. depends on your body type I guess!

you know what is weird? the rise on both of these jeans are the same--- but earnest looks soo high on. hmm. i think i may w/ the 18ths ---it makes my legs look slimmer (longer)

high waists never make your legs look short , they do the total opposite make your legs super long , the earnest are good , i find them to high ,13 inch rise is no joke .
