Hey I've noticed that sites nowdays use the word henley too, i.e. free people, la redoute..

I was kinda skeptical about that word being outdated as well. haha

thanks for telling me , but I didnt like the wash, a berlin in a pale blue wash would be cool , the one on their website is nice, i like the pairing of 70s denim blues with white and gold .

^^^which one the berlin ??? The marakech doesnt have pockets just slits..its alright over all but on close inspection its a bit bland .

i love the look of high-waisted jeans but i'm kinda petite and i worry that if i wear them, i'll look stunted and ********.

i think if your petite and have a figure 8- even if it's a small 8, would look great. i see this girl who works at a shop i go to, who is probably around 5-1 and she has an envious shape- like rachel bilson and wears high waisted pants, but not too wide. I'm not sure the brand, but they fit her like a glove. which is key in this style.

i agree. i think its just important to have a slim waist and wear them withheels so you look more long legged than longcrotched.

no i dont think so , in anycase i think the long *** affect comes from the placement of the jean pockets ,any case i prefer a long *** to one wear *** crack is showing .

in that case, just hand me some soccer mommy jeans and call it a day

^^^^ like the siwy ones you like to wear , the kates lol , but seriously soccer mom jeans are nothing like the fashionable high waisted jeans (wide , straight or skinny) , the fitting is tight at the top and the jean pockets place nicely, more like designer jeans of the 70s and early 80s .

I've been watching Three's company a lot lately. A LOT of high waisted flares and skinnies!!! Great show for inspiration!
