Hot Versace Dress! Sexy Or Skanky?

If you guys think that is skank why don't you take a look at what 8 year olds are wearing down the street. Honestly. I've seen a number of people wear less then that at an award show.
That doesn't mean we need to sink to their level. :innocent:

Do you guys honestly think a stripper could afford versace? Which designer do you wear? If Prada is a fav because of their techniques then I'm ashuming you don't wear it because it is uncomfortable! The light weight materials versache uses compliment a womans curves and feel amazing on. Unlike the stiff cardboard Prada uses. Just my personal opinion.

why shouldnt they? those girls are usually quite well off and this kind of dresses is an investment for their job

I'm sure someone with that kind of body would look awesome in that dress but I don't think they'd go buy one. Most of them have reasons for doing what they do and its not to buy dresses.

Some women like to have all eyes on them at certain events- and I don't think there's a damn thing wrong with that.
:flower:
I couldn't agree with that more, but why do you want all eyes on you? Because you look incredibly stunning or because you look cheap?
if someone was wearing the original posted dress,
together with 'all the eyes' they probably get 'all the laughs'

the sex sex and more sex looks are falling out of style guys,
uber skin exposure is so very tired

If only certain people were listening.
*coughBritneycough*

LoL. If skin is out and conservative is in someone better alert the millions of people who seem to think its the other way around. Maybe you should stop preaching to us and start preaching to those that matter like Gucci, D&G and Versace why you're at it.

I don't follow trends.. much.. well why not be an individual and stand out?? than looking like the rest of the mob? I think today, we have individuals.. not trend followers

not preaching anyone kaos -anti-preaching person here- it's been in all the magazines/newspapers for months now, so i guess some people have been missing the beat, they'll catch on in time, they always do and as we say 'bettre late than never' :P

when you have the time browse old topics at FS sections, we've been discussing 'the end of sex' for months now.

I think trends often determine which age group your looking at. I mean Prada is like 45 + which not being rude would look mighty funny in that versace dress. Then theres more mainstream designers like Sass & Bide who are trying to pull off the conservative look but aren't having much luck. The 16 - 40 year old demographic is looking at D&G, Gucci, DKNY, Marc Jacobs, Alexander McQueen etc, etc, etc. The only time conservative is in is winter when its to cold for 'skank' clothing.

'End of sex'? Sex sells, men are the audience in this case and they love sex. Is Prada planning on executing the male species?

Not all men like it shoved in their face. :flower:

Generalisation? the only generalisation here is the direction this topic has gone in. An opinion on a few outfits has turned Versace into a wh*re house.

You point out any man that doesn't like to see a bit of leg action? Even gay men respect versace. They're aren't trying to cover up the female body, they're exploiting it's unique curves.

Sex does sell.. and it will always sell.. no matter what trend is cool/hip/next.. sex does sell.. btw .. becoz Versace is financially unstable at the moment... i read that that is becoz Donatella likes to "jet-set" most of her time and doesnt devote time on the Gianni Versace label.. eg looking after her other lines (Versus/Jeans/Young) so Versace label is doing absolutely fine!

excuses kaos but honestly there is no 16-40 age group out there

if you like sexy clothes good for you, keep wearing them all you want :flower:

btw, welcome to tFS :flower:

sex is fine when its not 'in your face' it can get boring seeing all the naked bimbos around :innocent:

as for 'men being the audience' well, isnt this a bit oldfashioned? i think women dress first for themselves and then for their guys

there is sex in Prada's clothes, but obviously you seem to be losing the point :P
Very well expressed Lena. As discussed in another thread, one can still be sexy without flaunting everything. Personally, I do think that Prada's clothing is rather appealing, although it doesn't have a lot of the glitz of other labels.

Old fashioned? Speaking of old fashioned, the idea that a woman should hide her body is old fashioned.

Maybe it's time to bring it back then.
