How do you wear your jeans?

BTW pardon my ignorance, but can someone please explain to me what a taper on jeans looks like? I hear about how it's a faux pas all the time but I don't even know what it is...
If you mean tapered leg, it means the leg narrows from the knee to the ankle. Here is a fine illustration. The third gentleman from the left, Mr. Richard Hell, is modeling some tapered jeans that were very popular at the time. :mowhawk:

depends on situation and what shoes/top etc im wearing and what mood im in

-Black. I"m really starting to fancy black jeans.

-Non stretch.

I really don't mind it as much anymore...EVERYTHING has stretch nowadays. I really prefer however to have a less stretchy jean. Having a little bit of stretch might make the fit better, but I think that the stretch craze is causing a lot of unnecessary eyesores.
I.E. Someone who is definately a size 10 squeezing into a 6.

Another thing about stretch jeans is they don't break in the way old school, non stretch jeans do. I don't think they'll ever be your "favorite pair of old broken in jeans"

I wear mine fitted, and I almost always cuff them so that they basicaly look straight legged even if they are not. I mostly wear lower-rise jeans, but not insanely so.

Oh God, I want his pants  :crush:

haha speaking of tight...i was wearing some tight pants two days ago and standing in line at the textbook store...and someone who was walking the street was spewing all this hate speech and when he came to me he looked at me and started yelling all sorts of anti-gay stuff, which I found hilarious because I'm straight. That really bothers me ... why can't straight people be into fashion and wear slim fitting things?

Med to low rise, only straight / boot leg, fitted, dark colored and covers at least half of my heels.

That's why I compliment my tighter jeans with a pair of steel toe Docs. Whatever I wear, they're usually slow and low, but not loose. I never dug the baggy jeans jeans too much, they get in the way. I learned that by being a mechanic. Anyway, it never hurts to wear a pair of jeans that hug your ***. They're more comfy and girls dig it (and they sometimes pinch^_^ ). But when it's past my ***, they have to be straight cut.

...super-skinny and low rise. I actually like it when the crotch isn´t cut too low so I can pull them down - it looks fabulous if the legs are cut skintight... very flat ***, very heroin-chic, haha!!

Extremely low-rise and *** tight...usually overly distressed...^_^

Very slightly low waist, non artificial looking dye, REAL denim (like Levis, for example). I customize them at the bottom to turn them into skinny jeans. I also VERY VERY VERY VERY slightly destroy them. I make sure they are just my size (which means, NO TIGHT jeans).

very low rise, dark and non-stretch, flared or skinny, it depends, usualy
with long slim top [or 2-3] different belts or scarves worn as belt...

skinny skinny and low rise
i hate boot cut jeans.....makes my leg look huge:cry:

low (but not too low) rise, fitted, bootcut/flared (bootcut doesn't fit over my sneakers - not bells though!)

I  jeans.
