Has anyone tried fixing the lock themselves? Or has anyone else took it to their cobbler?

We practically perform reconstructive surgery on our t&d bags, maybe there's a DIY solution to fixing the Alexa lock?

So now that the new colors are out is everyone "pre-paying" with all abandon? What about all the issues with pre-pays not getting their selections first the last time around? I got the email from T&D advertising the new colors, and the new $6 price increase to improve quality and turn around times-- does this now mean that if you pay first you will recieve your bag first?

A $6 increase?? I doubt it will change anything but the prices. This seems like a test-run of a more significant price increase.

is printed upwards(that means the tree is not facing down but up!)
It's a thing that annoys me but i dont intend to sent it back.
I've informed Jacky .please inform the other girls for this flaw.

I removed the ladies name from the end, But i thought it was very nice of her to take the time and share her info with us.
So check your trees girls! are they growing and going in the right direction.
I guess if you look at the small picture on J's site and compare to Mulberry logos you will see what she means.

bagalicious: Thanks for sharing this information. I cannot say that mine had any problem with the logo not facing the correct way. The bag is in China now so I really don't know. I do know that the lock problem was enough for me to send it back. I showed it to a friend and she said I should send it back as well. I think that Jacky needs to get his Quality Control straightened out or he will have alot of returns and I know he does not want that.

Yep - my Mulberry trees are upside down

I noticed this straight away and thought that was a bit WEIRDO.... But with my total lack of any Mulberry knowledge I didn't really know either way. So no biggie for me. It would be great if they grew up the right way, but I ain't shipping lexy around the world for my trees to sprout upwards.

I guess any girls that wana order an Alexa better ask.....
a) Are your trees upright J?
b) Does your postman lock wobble or what?

I have contacted J and he said he'd send out another postmans lock to have as standby. My pops is pretty handy with a blowtorch so i'll just give it to him to fix up if needed, just gota give him my 'daddy's little girl' look!

Aww, no! Really? I think our bags are definitely worth what we pay for them, even more! I personally have never seen high quality italian lamb or goatskin leather bags for less than $300. As for resale, with the exception of the occasional low-ball offers, I've almost always gotten what I ask for when I resell mine--which is close to full price.

/\ I agree with Amethyst....Our NBF bags always re sell for close to what we pay for them, I have bought and sold gently used NBF'S, and I say this with personal experience.

I think a 6 dollar increase is fine as long as they live up to their reason "it's for a better quality control and faster turn around time"... AND correct some hardware issues (we know what they are, ladies! ;p)

with the prices auths are at now (only 4 times more) I might just switch to Auth ones soon..

but I've been searching and searching and SEARCHING for a perfect black bag (any brand/designer) and still haven't found something that's grabbed me.
Black Bals are decent, especially with GH, but still a tad tame for me (I want an attention grabber bag!)

Ladies- I know a couple of members have PM'd me and are looking for a lambskin pom pom.
if you checkout buyandsellmybag on ioffer, and read his "policy and info page" you will see that you can have a bag custom made with italian lambskin, HW, and color you select, you pay a 30% fee upfront and the seller sends u photgraphs of your item before you pay the balance.
So lambskin pom poms are available, you just have to have to order it and pay a deposit in advance...defintley an alternative for a style or a color that T&D are not and will not re release... gray 06 baby!!!!!
