xjessiex: I know it can be worrisome to receive a bag and have it be different than expected, but your bag's leather looks gorgeous!! The leather can feel thin but its strong! As much as I try to really protect and "baby" my bags, I have real babies and they aren't careful! I've had my bags sat on, stepped on, squished, pulled and squashed. I've even had a double stroller put on top of them!!! :/ They always make it through as gorgeous as ever!!

I actually prefer the thinner feeling leather
b/c it feels soooo silky, buttery smooth after being treated with Apple Care!!

mm07: the ruby in my picture was brand new, i never put anything on, so as the magenta in that pic. i will try baby lotion too. my magenta originally looked JUST like urs, the color was dark and shiny.
xjessie: balenciaga leather isnt "thick" as we thought it is. ur black city iss gorgeous. have not heard about ripping,i carry my work and weekender alot too

i dont like the shine on my bags so i rarely spray them. i spray like twice a month- hopefully it will help prevent/reduce water marks or dirt. but if you like the shine on ur bag, you can always spray it AFTER you moisturerize it.
STUFF ur bag full, so all the area of the leather is straighten, which help spray evenly, hold the spray about6-8 inches away from ur bag.

going back a few pages, re: the sandstone t&d bags. i have one and never used it much. it certainly is a nice shade, but it got so boring. i just don't really see a place for that color in that particular style in a bag "wardrobe." i'm hopeful to find a nice replacement in a more structured shape.

really? i think it's such a pretty, muted color - i kind of wanted it for spring. i have a sapphire T&D city and i love it but i think i'm more of a neutral bag kind of gal.

I have a sandstone work and it matches a lot of things! Although I wouldn't say it gave it an oomph like maybe a magenta color would. But I love my sandstone to bits ^^

However, that saying I really need an oomph bag! And I've been looking at the YSL Muse II/Forever Bag. Does anyone know who makes a good quality Muse II?

I ordered a balenciaga from new bag factory , I loved the quality of the leather and the details , but i am a bit disappointed because it looks shiny. I hope after use it several times it looks less shiny...

Can you tell me if the original is shiny too?

Or is just my bag

Carried mine today and walked right past LV. Looked in and they have all the new MC styles on display. My bag's colors are indentical! Oh, and I usually have to hunt someone down in Sephora to get help, but today I had 3 associates asked me if I needed anything....don't know that its related to my fabulous Speedy, but it could be!!

Ok I have to share that I had a crazy dream that my ruby GSH PT arrived and had grey handles with red leather laid over them and the hardware was small (RH size) and falling off and the strap didn't work. LOL!

Regarding CHANEL VINTAGE JUMBO XL, Jacky will do it after the holidays if there is interest so let him know if you want one!! I saw (and touched) this bag today in Chanel (only it wasn't vintage) and its TDF!! I'm requesting lambskin leather.

it is pretty, certainly, and i love neutrals too! i fall more on the conservative side of things (though i do love my magenta) but for some reason, whenever i've been in need of a neutral bag, i've either reached for a darker neutral (if i've wanted slouchy). since i'd like a lighter neutral too, i'm thinking of a poussiere birk - i just love how it has shape and can make a woman look put together, but still has a breezy feel if you wear it open (and holds a lot!). a light-colored neutral slouchy bag...for some reason, the combination of both...i just can't find a fit for me. i think it's because i wear too much black and too many dresses it's too "natural" for me! i absolutely do think it could be considered an essential depending on your personal style though! i think i fall too far on the severe/prissy girly spectrum!
