^I agree that you can size down in the skirts...the waists are cut very generously. :flower:

Ok, thanks all for your help!:flower: I'll probably buy it.^_^

i think that is because most of them are intended to be worn on the hips...^_^

i love that the clothing she designs are very reflective of her own lovely, simple, refined and very insouciant aesthetic. :woot:

what do you think of this top from the current collection? It seems like a very easy piece to wear and would look great with a short jacket or waistcoat. even the mustard brown is a nice earthy tone. seems like there will be quite a bit of greys, browns, blacks and ochres as the underlying colors.

^^There's a touch of the "King of the Wild Frontier" about it which I find off-putting but I do like the color.

^ thanks heb, thats an interesting take. I can see that too, but that seems the whole concept behind this season...frontier women.

There is a small interview with Isabel Marant and a small ed with the new collection in the new ID. Really nice. Pity i do not have a scanner...

I just got an email from Curve saying that some A/W Etoile stuff has arrived...tops, pants, boots, and scarves...thought I'd attach the images here in case anyone is interested.

really like those knit pants...
thanks for posting heb......

lucky...
post a pic if you get the top..

you too teja!...

^_^

some more EIM from satine. what do you guys think? I like the silk "zebra" pattern tunic and the tie-dye dress quite a bit, but I'm such a sucker for tie-dye.

very earthy and easy to build on. :flower:

I didn't buy the top previously posted because I like the mainline version with rope ties better than the shoelaces, it seems more polished.

teja,

those are saved for you, I don't buy everything I post...I thought that sheer top was a winner also.

oooh-- thanks for the pics luckyme!! Does satine do a mail out for IM items? I tried emailing them but they never replied :(

I was sent a pdf from them when I called but I think its by request not necessarily a given from a list.
