You look gorgeous. But now i do not understand if you are small, how do look just like the model. The jacket in the hanger in the previous page looks indeed small and the on the model is more or less the same size as yours(in proportion of course).

pucci, that is a really good coat....
you look wonderful...you are so good with proportions.

pucci - the coat looks fantastic on you! that's exactly how i was hoping it would fit. now i'm extremely excited to get it and am so happy i didn't try to order an etoile coat instead, which would have ended up being way too big, i suspect

Wow Pucci! It looks so cool, I love it on you. Have you been wearing it already? Is it getting that cold already in London??!!

pucci, the bator jacket is a great choice. i like the muted herringbone and the short cocoon shape quite a bit. tourist and you are joined by me in ordering it. its waiting at the office for me to try on. i didnt have a grey jacket and cant wait to see how this fits me. the pockets give your picture a deceiving hourglass shape but then i realized it fits more like the vogue ad. not sure how tall you are but it fits you so well. im sold...thanks for posting the irl shot.

Count me in too! I just purchased it!;)

Thank you all

tourist10 I found the same when I was in Paris I tried on a couple of the étoile coats which were all enormous, I have always had that problem with IM clothing, which is why when something actually fits me I have to snap it up!

Grill Yes, I have been wearing it a couple of times, the weather in London is so unpredictable.

Aby I was just going to reply to your PM regarding the jacket but I see you already got it! B)

aby, félicitations :flower:. any chance i can see it on you. i think it would be great to see how it fits different proportions.

as usual, as in every season, just when i think isabel has nothing to offer me i find something, well, more than one something that is perfectly suited to me. i tried the bator jacket in the ad and fell for it, even though i didnt have high hopes until i saw pucci's pic. it really is a great jacket, not only does it work as a herringbone blazer but because of its weight and cocoon shape its a staple mid weight coat. fact is, it has legs (or arms as it may)...and will ease into a well worn, go to, no brainer legacy. its that good. also, thought i would give the double layer grey ss tee with rolled sleeves a go, didnt have high expectations, since it seemed like an overpriced t-shirt at first in the pdf (but what the hell, i could always return it), or so i thought it might be...but on the contrary, i already wore it today because of its perfect fit and equally ideal weight. how does she do it? the woman just gets women...its freaky great stuff, truly not like any other designer i can think of that achieves this reach. ok, off the marant pedestal.

^ so glad the jacket worked out for you! I'm still waiting for mine. Interesting re: the t-shirt ... overpriced tee was my first thought as well :p But I'm glad it turned out to be what seems like a perfect basic! Agreed, not everything she makes is a hit, but the few things that do end up working out, you wear to death!

if anyone is still interested in the chain boots from last season curve put it an order for them again. price is $1275.

just dropping in to say that I'm in love with my coat as well! The shape is nothing new, I feel like she does coats like this every fall, but this is the first time that one of them actually fits me.

I also got a pair of the spring ankle boots in a taupe suede. I think it will look awesome with fall blacks and greys. Now if only I knew how to take care of suede shoes!

^ I would say TTS to slightly small (for this type of coat). It's an oversized fit in a way, because it's an off shoulder seam and has a more generous body, but the arms are what feel pretty TTS. On me, it's a bracelet arm length, and I'm quite short.

Where did you got the boots, Tourist? Thanks in advance.:flower:

same analysis as tourist. i went up a size because of narrow fit but it fits like a cocoon shape. perfect length for a petite person, hits just below my hip and has a lovely drop shoulder for a relaxed fit. the sleeves are supposed to be bracelet length...i roll them to show the lining like in the ad.

the boots are adorable, will be a staple i'm sure.

^ thanks! yes, the boots will definitely be a staple, along with the coat.

thanks for the karma classicbang!

les sucettes - I got them from Nida in SF, but since it's last season, they don't have much left (I think only 1 pair).
