I think she has the right to design to whomever she chooses, if she wants her clients to be skinny with no boobs, she has the right to do and say so. I do not understand this idea that designers have to please all women and design for all shapes and sizes. If they want to exclude a portion of the population from buying their clothes is their prerogative.
Said that, i always find her statements extremely contradictory, i do not Know if it's bad translations, if things come out wrong way in english and have another meaning in french but the truth is what she does and what she says no not tally. She says she she designs for brunettes and 80% of the models she chooses for her shows are blondes, she does not design for boobs but she never had any problems using busty models like Lara and Isabeli, and even Abbey when she was not as popular as she is now, and also had a considerable chest. She hates famous women and gives her inspiration as the ultimate IT girl Alexa Chung. And last in a total contradiction of the famous women motto, she uses Kate Moss her the face of the brand exactly at a time when the brand is being accused of pandering to LA IT girl's tastes. Why use Kate Moss, the model celebrity by excellence in a brand were the core clientele would happily dispense with famous women in the ads, where the core clientele actually agrees that "famous women" wearing her clothes actually cheapens the brand?
