I can't comment on those specifically, but for what it is worth, I have 5 pieces of hers, 1 mainline and 4 etoile (definitely not enough, others have many more and could probably better answer). 1 is a linen blend, others cotton, 1 wool and 1 cupro. I wear all of them, all of the time and find they really hold up. i usually spot or hand wash and air dry. And the fit of IM for me can't be beat.

You should definitely buy the coat how much was it btw?
I bought one oversized coat and one jacket from Marant last year on ebay & let me tell you that I wear them non stop in winter its so comfy and warm

If I remember correctly, the coat was about 330€, which is great value for price IMO.

Thanks pembldon! I think it was a size 1 and I usually wear a size 38/40 in France. I only had a t-shirt underneath though, I should have tried it out with a sweater.

Here is an article critiquing Isabel Marant from 8-31-10. I agree with most, though I never saw Isabel Marant on celebs before seeing them myself at clothing stores or in photo spreads. I love the dress on you hautechild! As for the article, I would agree with some parts of it. If everything on the blog is true (I haven't watched/read all of her interviews), she does seem a bit pretentious, and yes some of her things are overpriced. She makes some nice clothes that is really chic and gorgeous but also some things that I personally cannot accept (like her fringed boots..sorry I just don't like them). Also that some people worship her clothes like it is the synonym of "Parisienne" is getting a bit out of control now (worldwide) imo . I'm not trying to start a war here, just speaking my mind. Obviously I wouldn't be here if I hated her and her aesthetics.
