wow dentro, you look really great!! both look awesome.

aby - fantastic boots!! I'm still feeling like I'd love a pair of the black ones too

lucky - oooh, it is so much nicer in that color combo. ok, remember that we demand pictures!!

loooove the paisley dress in that colour combination! It would look so fantastic with my moto jacket.... must... resist...

Aw, thanks guys:wub:

I actually have a pair of cropped canvas pants (cropped on me means about . . . erm, just above ankle length) that I think would go much better, but they need to take a trip to the tailor's first.

Vogue Paris April has featured a lot Isabel Marant in Kate Moss's editorial...mostly the basics  I want it even more now :D

Emmanuelle Alt style's the Isabel Marant collections, yes?

 everyone's recent purchases. I was just browsing on Matches website and saw some pieces that I hadn't seen before...a waistcoat and some scarf-neck tops...and I thought someone here may be interested.

we just got the dress versions of the scarf tops at our shop this week and it is AMAZING!! the linen is thin and soft. also, the scarf is detachable (belt loop at the back of the neck is how it is attached) so you can take it off and wear it with something else (perhaps a simple white tee and black leather jacket? :innocent:)

has anyone seen her jewelry? we also got some of those in and I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE them! i am surprised at how affordable it is esp since here in Canada just the linen tees are like $225-275US equivalent. they are $115 for the single pendants and about $255-375 for the larger ones...

^^^i have a necklace from marant - metal and glass beads - love it.

ellesea- great news about the scarf dresses-can you shop ship to the united states? i have been dying to try and locate the scarf dresses...

does anyone know who carries these dresses?

My wardrobe is full of Marant's creations:woot:.items of clothing I keep collecting from year to year.

just came back from Paris, such beautiful things at IM store. I bought this two dresses.

Well the green one apparently is not a dress but a top but I intend to use it as a dress, a short dress but still a dress: in terms of lenght on me looks more or less like the one in the catwalk.

Now it's just waiting that this freezing cold go away soon.;)

les sucettes, your such a tease...I cant wait to go to paris and check out the store. it looks like a day trip to me especially if aby is going to meet there, so that might be real trouble....

the first dress is one I have on order in white and navy, after seeing your picture I'm really stoked to get it now!! thanks so much for posting it. curious how it ran size wise?

the second dress is linen right?...I tried the ecru paisley one in that cut and it was a bit overwhelming on me so I had to return it, but I could see the lighter color making that style much more wearable.

Oh yes you are going to be there forever.:p I looked like a kid in a candy shop...

The first dress looks enormous but amazingly is a size 0, I'm usually a UK size 6/8 or a 34/36, so it's right. I tried the size 1 to see if it was bigger in terms of length, I'm 1.70, but the difference in terms of size in the breast area was way too much i looked drowned in fabric. You are going to love it, I was not even going to buy it, but when I saw it I could not resist.

The second dress says silk on the label, but is that typical linen feel of IM. And it's a size one.
