Well I'm a size 8, tried an M, and although it was not tight it's not exactly a loose type of sweater in the style of those from AA that everyone has, that just "hangs". It's a "proper" sweater. Hope it helps.:flower:

Thanks Les_Sucettes, is that a US 8 or UK 8? I am a US 6, so thinking of ordering the M or L ...

UK 8, that i presume is an US size 4. I guess it depends how you like this kind of stuff. I prefer it a bit loose.

Love the Mila Jovovich for Isabel Marant pic.

I'm soo in love with the natural coloured furs in this collection but knowing that I will be returning to live in London in the near future is dissuading me from making a purchase. Real Fur is something of an anathema to Londoners and not widely worn...I was also perturbed to see that the fox and rabbit items are made in China and I would be concerned if the fur was actually farmed in China.

Fur talk aside - look who's wearing Marant - Rachel Weisz pictured in the DailyMail online.

^ wow, very odd ... I would never have known this was Isabel Marant. Not getting the much beloved casual, laid back, and sweet vibe that I usually associate with IM. But I think there's still much to love about fall ... particularly the jackets and coats. Anyway, thanks for the picture Grill :flower:

I'm personally really looking forward to IM this fall. I went through my closet the other day and pulled out all the "child friendly" (i.e. comfortable and washable) clothes I had, and so much of that turned out to be Etoile! I'd really like to add a throw over everything jacket like the one pucci_mama (pics please!!) bought and maybe one or two easy blouses, if they are more along the lines of the IM I've come to love. I also very much like the blazer charps posted.

tourist, you hit the nail on the head with that post. thanks for putting the emotion into words...

^ it's both the dress and the styling, isn't it?

I posted in the shopaholics thread but thought I'd share here too (hope that's allowed). My new linen/cotton coat from the Spring collection. I thought it would be overwhelming, but it's not. I love the shape so much. The fabric looks a little burlap-like, but it's actually very soft

I'm really not fond of "Hollywood meets Marant"...first, Rachel Weisz, now Sienna Miller...

UNIQ - Here's a link to Creature of Comfort's website...they have the boots. I like them, but I'm still stunned by the $1,482 price tag.

In case anyone didn't get the email, here's the link to CoC's first Fall/Winter shipment...

There are a couple of nice pieces but I can't get over the fact that the studded ankle boots are $1482...pre-sale, 30% down, no refunds

the price is ridiculous, total bs hype. the thigh high vers is only like $40 more which makes no sense either. studs aren't made of precious metal to justify that!

Those boots look terrible on Sienna, the all outfit does not suit her, I can't pin point why...

I don't think that dress would be good on anyone... sometimes Isabel Marant seem to go into trash territory...
