Well they do not have a great range, that's true, but the pieces that they have in common with other shops are usually cheaper. Those popular jogging pants for example cost £130 at Liberty and £150 at Aime. My guess is that it must have to do with different the exchange rates when they bought the pieces.

I tried those on, they were so unflattering it was depressing. I'm hoping they're going to put some of their SS stuff online.

yes, the SS10 pieces do look terrific :) ....I have her stuff in my country too, I think I'll check them out soon as well, I'm really curios :D

so i just found out that net-a-porter is not the only one who's gonna sell online Isabel Marant line..there will be also Matches and MyTheresa :woot:

^Great news! Matches were selling her stuff 2 years ago so I'm really glad they gonna do it again.^_^

i really loved the spring 2010 collection how much of that actually goes into a store? i finally found one near me which stocks isabel marant by chance! :D

Guess it really depends on the store how much of a collection they take. What's the shop called?

In Brighton. That's where I get all my Isabel Marant. They get a lot it's their best seller and they've just started getting the mainline in now. After Aime in London I'd say they have the best selection. Much better than Liberty and Diverse.

Can anyone say how much a dress costs ? Is it more expensive than 700 $? I want to start saving for this beauty right here.....

No you don't get e mails but you get previews of their sales and 30% off when it's their birthday around november.

i got a couple of pieces from the Etoile line in Paris. a tee with some print and some summery print pants... just perfect for summer!
will try and post pics when i get a chance :)

is there a sale at the moment? i have never ever received emails from them and i bought something around november last year

Yeah sales on now, the end of it but they never have real bargains. New collection's at the front bit of the shop. I think the prices have gone up this season.

ya sadly :( i got jeans before when i was just looking around asking them what the sizing was like and they said they didnt have any that size except some s&b ones which were on sale but they were in the stockroom! they said the rest was all packaged up so i couldnt look at it haha

are Isabel Marant dresses usually more expensive than 700 dollars ? (approx 450 GBP)

no---from what i've seen the go up to about that...usually the most has been about $600-650...just for some of them though

which i have to say i think is insane and frankly completely outrageous..
once the prices started going that high...
i started to go off her stuff...
the prices just are not warranted imo...
the fabrics are not expensive and the construction is not that complex...
so there is no justification for those prices...
it's just hype...
like when people all have to have a certain balenciaga bag or whatever...

don't believe the hype...!!!
:judge:

as long as it's kept under $500...then i would say it's ok...
of course...that's just my personal opinion...
but i figure - if a top is $350...
then a dress should be about 1/3 more...because a dress is basically just a long top...
so that means about $125 more...
so - a dress should be about $475...or less...

*retail math is the only math i can do!...
