anybody notice any more new season stock rolling in?? i missed out on the wool jacket from NAP, sold our v.quickly, though given that its a bit itchy probably a good thing as very sensitive to this. i also missed out on some gorgeous Etoile coats from The Corner Shop in Sydney ... you have to be so quick. they had one pictured on their blog which looked a bit like a new version of the 'bator' ... also a cool cargo style one ... if anybody sees these can you post. thanks :)

They had the Bator like Jacket at Liberty, it's basically the same as the one of the last collection. They also had the one of NAP, but IMO is not really nice.
Aime has a lot of the new Etoile stock, you may find all of them there.

This Etoile IM striped sweated is on NAP UK website right now!!

^ Definitely the first one! The bottom two look unremarkable and generic.

I like top two...don't which one is best...depends on your body height and shape :) good luck!

definitely the first one!

btw, anything else noteworthy you can share from the heist images?

The first one is definatelly the bator jacket from last season. It's great Isabel repeats a lot of the basic items season after season. I like the first and second jackets too.

thanks everybody, i like the first one best too on reflection... my second option is number two, so i might get both. the only thing i am worried about is itch factor with the second one ... ! wish somebody had seen in person ...
Does anyone have experience with sizing on the bator? I am either a 1 or 2 in IM jackets depending. (US 4-6) ... thanks!

bator coat sizing

charps, i am about a 4-6, mostly size 6 on top and about 5' 5". i have the bator coat in a 2 because there was no size 1 available, but i feel the size 2 is too big and would be perhaps happier with a 1. in other im sizing i have sizes 1 and 2. some size 2s fit perfect while a size 1 in capris are too big. crazy.

These 2 jackets are opposites, the first (Bator) is over sized, it has drop shoulders and it's very lose but it's lined and therefore quite comfortable to wear even with a short sleeve tee shirt underneath. The second coat is very fitted and has the most wonderful shoulders when worn. This one is unlined and stretchy wool but it's a bit itchy, not as itchy as the long coat from Net-a-Porter but it can be a bit uncomfortable if you have very sensitive skin. The Bator coat is good for winter but the fitted jacket is more like a nice tick cardigan and you will definitely need a coat on top during real winter. I hope it helps.

thank you blossbloss - very helpful. i have a gorgeous wool jacket from last season's mainline collection. it was a LOT more expensive than this one, but i think the same material as slightly stretchy, as you say, wool, but not as itchy as the more textured version on NAP which i wouldnt get as it would be too itchyl. thanks for confirming the difference a big help. i think i would definitely be a size 2 in this as if its a smaller more fitted cut i tend to be. re the bator-like styled one, so hard ... still debating between the size 1 or 2 ...
thanks again!

rlp1 - like you i am usually more of a size 6 ... so maybe the 1 would be better, though i am definitely a LOT bigger than you in capris etc. as i always need a size 2 ... so maybe i should stick with the 2 in the jacket. so hard when i cant try!
thanks so much for your feedback though

I just went to the Corner Shop recently and they barely have any Isabel Marant left. They sell out so quickly.

Also with your last post on the previous page, can you please credit your images charps? :flower:

Cicciolina - I know its crazy, they just got a second drop though - did you see? more pants and shirts. i really want the cargo style pants, but again not sure about sizing and they are not cheap for etoile $545 AUD ... prices def seem to have gone up again even though our dollar is a lot stronger now.

sorry about pics - what else should i do? i put from "cornershop" on one set and from Heist on the others? what else do i need to put there? thanks

I bought a pair of etoile trousers.....the purple missoni style ones from NAP - they haven't arrived yet...they were rather tardy in dispatching them....so i'm reserving judgment until i see them in person

if anyone has the pdf from heist please send it to me, we seem to have an email issue and it never came through.

thanks

I'm voting for the two first jackets. I have the bator jacket and I'm swearing to it when it's not sunny or hot outside. I was going to buy the red/second jacket in Paris, but they didn't have my size.

Maryam nassir zadeh has added some new stuff from s/s collection by Isabel Marant on sale.
