The collection is the best one of HC S/S so far! I think that the inspiration and the clothes themselves are quite unpretentious (for couture)...and I really enjoy the boldness of the looks. The green dresses are very good especially the third one from the bottom in #84..but the first look in this post is just amazing, I love the silhouette

Absolutely wonderful.

With Christian Lacroix (unfortunately) missing, it's clear that Gaultier is our generation's master of Couture. There is no doubt. He deftly mixes a million references and is able to find the perfect balance between tongue in cheek and modern chic...(sorry, the rhyme was irresistible).

I love the Mexican references, both contemporary and ancient (Aztec).

The whole "Charro" theme remind me his F/W 2004 HC collection. This is fun, clever, and dramatic, LOVE IT!

Best couture collection of the week...All elements I normally associate w/ couture (design, craftsmanship...fantasy) are well represented in this collection.

WOW WOW WOW! I felt my heart stop for a moment there. Too many beautifully designed and artistically inclined dresses. Its kitschy and costume~y at times but its very dramatic and I love the artistic direction of this current collection!
