Jil Sander for Uniqlo

me too^ esp the one with the detachable collar
it looks very soft

^ At all Uniqlo outlets. I think there's only one in the States - and that's in NYC.

I actually prefer the men's collection to the women's, but I'm excited for this. I love Uniqlo, the quality of the clothes there are much better than H&M. I missed Alexander Wang's line, and I'm disappointed b/c I loved what I saw online. I was overseas for a bit and by the time I made it to NYC just about everything was sold out, except for some large sizes :(

I'll be sure to make a trip to NYC the weekend this line releases.

’S RETURN: Uniqlo and Jil Sander have finally set a date for the German designer’s long-awaited fashion comeback. The Japanese chain will start selling the +J collection in the United States and the United Kingdom on Oct. 1 and in Asia on Oct. 2. Prices range from 1,990 yen, or about $21 at current exchange, for a stretch t-shirt to 14,900 yen, or $155, for a Chesterfield coat. Photos of the products, including tailored shirts, button-down jackets and sweaters, leaked online earlier this week. But on Thursday, Uniqlo unveiled a couple shots from the line’s new advertising campaign, which will break August 24 in GQ Japan. Shot by David Sims, it features black and white images of windswept models Sean Opry and Isabeli Fontana.

Jil Sander for Uniqlo launch date confirmed!
1_144.jpg
2_140.jpg
Earlier this week, we got a sneak preview of Jil Sander's collaboration with Uniqlo and it was every bit as minimalistic and cool as you'd expect. The masculine shirts, the perfect pair of trousers and a brilliant tuxedo coat had us wishing it was in store right now. Unfortunately, it's not, but we have just heard the Uniqlo +J collection will hit stores and go online on Thursday 1 October. (Clearly, they decided they couldn't tease us without giving us a date to mark in our diaries.) And aside from the pieces we've already seen (catch up here), the collection will include denim, sweats and accessories. Prices will start from as little as £14.99 for accessories, £59.99 for cashmere pieces and £49.99 for outerwear. We're almost prepared to start queuing now

More Promotional Photos of Isabeli Fontana in Jil Sander's +J Line for Uniqlo

Tue, 08/25/09 — 04:18:16 PM

>> Uniqlo has just set up a website for Jil Sander's +J line, with a list of individual price points and a few more of those David Sims-lensed promotional photos featuring Isabeli Fontana than we've seen before. There have been plenty of photos of the line — which runs $19.50-$149.50 and is out Oct. 1 — lying flat, but it's always nice to see how they lay on the body. The site also features the mantra: "Open the future / Luxury will be simplicity. / Purity in design, beauty, and comfort for all. / Quality for the people. / Basics are the common language. / The future is here: +J."
