Jil Sander for Uniqlo launch date confirmed!
Grazia fashionEarlier this week, we got a sneak preview of Jil Sander's collaboration with Uniqlo and it was every bit as minimalistic and cool as you'd expect. The masculine shirts, the perfect pair of trousers and a brilliant tuxedo coat had us wishing it was in store right now. Unfortunately, it's not, but we have just heard the Uniqlo +J collection will hit stores and go online on Thursday 1 October. (Clearly, they decided they couldn't tease us without giving us a date to mark in our diaries.) And aside from the pieces we've already seen (catch up here), the collection will include denim, sweats and accessories. Prices will start from as little as £14.99 for accessories, £59.99 for cashmere pieces and £49.99 for outerwear. We're almost prepared to start queuing now

>> Uniqlo has just set up a website for Jil Sander's +J line, with a list of individual price points and a few more of those David Sims-lensed promotional photos featuring Isabeli Fontana than we've seen before. There have been plenty of photos of the line — which runs $19.50-$149.50 and is out Oct. 1 — lying flat, but it's always nice to see how they lay on the body. The site also features the mantra: "Open the future / Luxury will be simplicity. / Purity in design, beauty, and comfort for all. / Quality for the people. / Basics are the common language. / The future is here: +J."
