I don't really ahve a problem with Juicy, it's just expensive basics, I think people get caried away with hating it and loving it. I think it's funny if you take it ironicly.

I think i ahve more of a problem with the wannabes that wear it than anything.

I read an interview with the designers, the blond one, Pam i think, sounded pretty coola ctually she said she got married in Yohji and her favorite band
was X.

Although I'd never wear the total Juicy Couture look out and about. I must say that I've had a pair of their terry capris for 3 years which I've worn to the gym and washed tons and they've really stood up to the challenge! I must say they're getting a little frayed now but they've lasted so much better than my exorbitantly priced - but very attractive - Nuala roll-down pants which went pilly within the first month of wear!!!

the whole claiborne thing is recent ... they are sooo much easier to deal with now. they grew way too fast for their own good i think. im trying to phase them out because i hate the company, but people LOVE their clothes. in my recent shipments they have been shipping me just the bottom half of the sweatsuits becuse they have run out of the tops and i find that too be just sooo irritating ...

yeah, i must admit to that as well... i saw their ripoff birkin/luella giselle/whatever it is at saks, and the leather is really nice

I Loved the juicy terry dress last summer!!perfect for the beach! JUICY is hot now, But I dont see them being as hot in 10 years...we will all be like oh yeah I remember Juicy they had those matching velour tracksuits..and thats it.

Juicy does have its followers. I like the old label better. It's amazing how "folks" get a little money and get all glam...they should've been glam from the beginning....Juicy Couture present label = nouveau riche!

I think if you stay clear of the logos and the matching track suits, then there is some nice stuff. The plain tee shirts are good, the men's are really soft and last a while, as do the track jackets/hoodies and I have found some of the jeans are OK too. My real frustration with this brand is the status that it has acquired with try-hard JAPpy girls acorss the country; the skanky, cheap nose-job types seem to think having the word "Juicy" stretched acorss their ***es' gives them style.

Any of you early Juicy fans? My first Juicy piece came way back in 2000 when the logo looked like it was amateurish computer plot!

That's not really a logo it's the inside tag and I don't think the tag has anything to do with the clothes.

Modelgirlie, I think the tag does have something to do with the clothes, the first tag looks like you'd find it in the demure section of Nordstrom while the second you'd find it in the high-glam section of Saks. It also effects sales, I know if I were a recently freshened 45 year old woman Id want the second than the first.

BTW that is the logo since it is thier signature print and its on the hang tag.

They definitely formed their whole brand over that Scotty "Love P&G" logo actually. It's as much a part of their style as the tracksuits are.

as far as i know the scotty thing doesnt go that far back? the brand seems to have more to do with great fitting basics than anything.
