Korean Street Style

Is Seoul a small city?? I thought it was pretty big..:unsure::huh:
Anyway thanks for the pictures^^ I really wish guys where I live would dress like that:innocent:

Well, geographically it's not that big (for me anyways - I'm from Canada!) ... but it has over ten million people, with almost half the population of all of S. Korea living there ... it's just packed ...

Ah ok, I see...Thanks for explaining. Do you like live in Seoul, or were you just on vacation there?

I've been in Seoul for almost a year ... leaving soon ... maybe I'll run into one of those boys yet though!

Two Westerners I happened to see on a street in Shinsadong. Quite certain they were models - one was from Iowa, the other from Australia.

Two young men at Ssamziegil, a fun outdoor shoppoing mall located in the popular artsy neighborhood of Insadong.

These two are the owners of a gorgeous boutique called Papergarden, located in the subtly high-end neighborhood of Apgujeong. They carry hard-to-find-in-Seoul designers like Les Prairies de Paris and Comme des Garcons, as well as household goods and vintage mid-century furniture.

I adore Korean street fashion, I watch Korean dramas and obviously that may not translate into real life but from what I've seen it's very simplistic, fresh and chic. Both sexes were impeccably dressed.

thanks for all the pictures! i just got to seoul a month ago, i moved from montreal.

i think korean fashion is a refreshing change. i really like it so far, i noticed girls really dress up and look very put-together. i'm loving what i see, yet sometimes i wish there was more variety-- girls tend to stick to the same look: heels, tights, frilly dress. but the few girls who are more adventurous look quite amazing!

All of the Korean international students (we have quite a few of them) that we have at my university are all quite fashionable. It's also quite evident in the male students-- they dress SO well!

I'm really keen on Korean fashion. Just to echo HockeyandChanel, our exchange students are impeccable with their taste.

same here in the UK their style is very tailored and smart, in fact most asian exchange students in my city look bloody great!

A little different from the rest of the thread... ^_^

CRACKER YOUR WARDROBE is a must seen.
They have great shots plus they're lovely enough
to send their free magazines overseas (at least, you have to pay fees)
I dont really like Seoul's fashion scene such as things we can find on Zipia.net etc. It's just trends, outfits they had to see in Wonder Girls (famous korean girl band) videos for example, dramas etc. Yourboyhood, Cracker Your Wardrobe, Daily Project naver blog and some cyworlds actually gives a ten times more creative image of a little improving fashion scene in Seoul. Quite great !

my sister is really into korean culture, and she always looking at these boy bands (apparently still big over there)

i'm sorry, i didn't mean to antagonize you. hence the

but to be fair, i should explain the comment.

it's not that your sentences are incomprehensible, but together they lack a sense of fluidity.

don't mind me though, it's just that your comment left me like
and i posted without thinking. i'm sorry. :flower:

p.s.
i was going to edit it, but you had already quoted me

oh i understand then ^_^
its prob. because of my english and a rush of ideas that i wanted to post, sorry. it finally awfully came out like this. i just wanted to highlight the fact that there are different, i'll say, "groups" in the whole k fashion scene, that you can notice if you watch korean series or/and even read your boyhood blog.
