La Redoute

oh no softgrey - sh*t i hope they end up being ok. Its the first time I have ordered from la redoute. The guy I spoke to on the phone was so bad - customer service not his strong point. I am slightly worried about the size. I am normally 36.5 but I got a 36.....worried now. they are nice though aren't they?
 
yes...i think they're very nice...
and a very good price ...
they seem rather narrow in the leg as well... which is something i am always looking for...though i need another pair of boots like a fish needs a bicycle...:lol:
 
I had a HUGE barney with the idiots at la redoute today! They tried to tell me that they had no relationship with their courier. I ordered a pair of boots on 11th March & they were dispatched on 14th & they still haven't arrived. I am furious with them.

Because it was my first order they will only deliver to my home address so I will not even be in (as i'll be at work) to receive them so theyll be sent back to la redoute............sooooo annoyed
 
I have been waiting since 18th December on my order :innocent:

Have only called them 18 times........
 
oh my god have they not sent you the money back? They are sooooo stupid when you phone as well. They should try employing people with braincells.

they just left my stuff in the mailbox...i guess it's a different policy for over here.

fox we don't have mailboxes just letterboxes on our front doors so the parcel wouldn't fit....

well, whatever they're doing, it's a ridiculous policy...maybe just leave a note for the courier? it's a long shot, but if you get someone who's paying attention, i'm sure they'd at least try to accomodate you...:neutral:

I had an incredibly long and drawn out thing with JCrew once (delivering to a different place) and I ended up just having to go to the courier depot myself and get it before they shipped it out again...:shock:
 
Helena, you are so right about their customer services people. SO annoying! I think I've spoken to every single one of them by now, and they all promise to call back, to sort it out, to do what they should blah blah, but I have ordered 3 separate times now in the past 6 months and never received a single package. They never debit my card, so it's OK, but it's incredibly annoying.

The stupid thing is, if I call in their things to use on a shoot, I always get them next day, even if it comes from France :rolleyes: if only they could employ the same principals and keep their customers happy!
 
stilista - thats terrible. They are crap. I am not using them again. I had to trot out 'I am a lawyer' line (the only time it ever comes in handy) and I was put through to a manager right away. She called me back this p.m but she still didn't know where the bloody boots were.

They took my money!!!

oh..i just remembered that when i had a problemn with a personal order ...right at the beginning when they just started to ship to the US about 1 1/2 yrs ago...i called the pr woman and tol her about my issues and she took the order for me and issues me a 15% discount for my next order to apologize for my trouble...

DRAMA!!!... :lol:
 
ahh they always take the money as the goods are despatched...I've never been lucky enough to get to that stage yet!

I can't believe they aren't able to call the courier and trace the package, that's pretty ludicrous - and as it's Easter weekend you won't receive them at least until Tuesday/Wednesday of next week (if they "find" them)

I wish I could say "I'm a lawyer" :lol: I'm sure that would be quite useful in a lot of situations...

hahaha, the pr agencies I visit all seem to have a "never trust a stylist" poster on the wall...maybe it's a personal vendetta Redoute have against me. :huh: :lol:

Unfortunately 'i am a lawyer' can be equally as damaging as it is useful at times!!!!:woot: :lol: Not really got much cool street cred has it?:rolleyes: :innocent:
 
ohh who cares about street cred when you can put some unhelpful, tiresome, badly trained and complacent "customer services" person in their place! :D
