Harper’s Bazaar Celebrates ICONS by Carine Roitfeld party held during New York Fashion Week on Friday evening (September 5) at the Plaza Hotel in New York City.
Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett have shared a sneak peek at their beautiful H&M holiday campaign. The commercial, inspired by the Big Band Era, features “It Don’t Mean A Thing (If It Ain’t Got That Swing),” one of the songs from the duo’s number one album Cheek to Cheek, and will be releases on November 25th.
“We were inspired by the glitz, glamour, and opulence of the 1940’s Big Band era,” says Johan Renck, director of the commercial. “The mood is one of festive celebration shot through with a strong sense of fashion and an underlying humour. It is intriguing, curious, exuberant, audacious, and filled with wonder.”
Throughout the holiday season, H&M will be raising funds for CARE, a humanitarian organisation working alongside poor women and girls to help fight global poverty. H&M will sell a special set of gift labels at each of its stores. For each pack sold, the H&M Conscious Foundation will donate double the sale price to CARE.
i just hate h&m, i'm sorry. even gaga can't change that. her latest instagram selfie (about loving and being loved) is just to die for. she looks so… real in it. so natural. i love it.
