Blake Lively and Leighton Meester Team Up On-Set

Teaming up for another day’s work, Blake Lively and Leighton Meester were spotted filming a scene for “Gossip Girl” in New York City on Thursday (July 9).

The CW co-stars walked side-by-side down the street while window shopping, later seen laughing together in between takes.

In related news, Miss Lively recently spoke with Glamour magazine about her objections to having now real-life boyfriend Penn Badgley as a castmate when the series first started up in 2007.

Lively tells, “At first I was so upset that they hired him. I actually poisoned the whole cast against him. But then they noticed that he wasn’t a jerk and was actually a really nice, charming person.”

Continuing on about her co-star lover, who was also a childhood classmate, Blake said, “Almost immediately I realized that too, but it took me about a week to admit it.”
