I wonder if she's calling her hair blonde? She's kind of doing that color Kim Kardashian did last year (or whenever, I don't really pay attention to her) when she kept calling it blonde, blonde, blonde and it was clearly not, just more of a sandy/orange combination.

In my opinion, she looks much better with darker hair. Although I've seen her with an actual blonde, bleachy-almost, and it suited her. I'm just not down with that ghastly color she's got now!

P.S. I like her dress at the Herbal Essences event.

Er, lawaldorf...most of the outfits you posted were edgy, except for the second and fourth. You neglected to post full-length shots of the last two because she was wearing edgy shoes there (regardless of that, the Herve Leger dress is very edgy on its own).

How is she "dark" and not "ladylike and sweet" at those music-related appearances though? And Leighton's always been known for "edgy", even before her music thing.... especially her footwear.

Hey, I never said I agreed with that person (though I do to a certain extent...she took edgy to the extreme), I was just simply saying that most of those outfits you posted could qualify as being 'edgy'.

Even the shoes at the HE event were pointed out as "edgy" despite the dress so I don't see why she can't be both sweet and edgy, which is so Red Carpet Leighton. also the music scene requires a bit of a fantasy anyway. I think she took edgy to an extreme one time at the American Eagle performance just like she took Haute Couture to an extreme like the MET Gala... and then there are people complaining she's too natural at some events. The reasons why she's always bashed is the same reason why I love her style and why she's so different from most of Young Hollywood, imo.

That MTV dress is a fav of mine when it came to her 'edgy' side. Yes she took risks that failed or cringe worthy though when she gets it right,its done to perfection.
